This steamer is the best! it's wide enough for asparagus stalks, the holes are small enough nothing falls through, has silicone handles for easy handling, glass lid so you can see, holds just the right amount of water for steaming, and it's easy to clean up. I highly recommend it. I got the red - it's beautiful.

Steamer is the perfect size for steaming vegetables and seafood for our family of 5. The set is high quality and I'm very happy with my purchase.

Good Size to steam couple pieces of chicken tenders. . couple of broccoli 🥦. . a small potatoe or corn cob for 20 minutes and dinner is ready! Breakfast. . sit a ramekin in the basket, couple tablespoons of Salsa Verda. . an egg or two and you have a GREAT egg in 15 - 20 minutes. When I found this I was searching for her oblong steamer. . . guess it isn't produced any longer. It is a better size for cooking large recipes. Highly recomend!

I decided to try out this amazing steamer sent to me by viewpoints to review by making some cod. I put too much water in the bottom and it began to boil the fish I was able to touch the handles and empty some of the water. You barely need water to get it going. I would highly recommend the Rachel Ray steamer set. I can't wait to use the pan some more. I have a feeling it will be one of my favorites!

The pan itself is very nice. Has a good heavy feel to it. I steamed some carrots for the first time, It seemed to take forever but that was the cook and not the actual pan. There was a lot of steam coming out around the lid. I fried some potatoes and a few burned. The pan cleaned without soaking. It practically peeled off which was super.
