Rachael Ray 9.5 Classic Bright s Hard Enamel Nonstick Deep Frying Pan Red

I have a set of Rachel Ray that is about 10 years old and the small 8 1/2" skillet was used the most. The non stick finish was starting to come off. I wanted a little larger one and this deep one was perfect and matches the set. I am very happy with the whole set.

I prefer a deep skillet but most that I find are 12"" and larger. I was so excited to find a deep 9.5"" pan, this size is PERFECT for those times that a large skillet is an overkill but I still want the depth. I've used this for everything from frying to sauteing to spaghetti sauce to everyday cooking, it's deep enough to prevent splatter and sloshes so it cuts down on a lot of messes to keeps my stove top much cleaner. The pan heats quickly and evenly. The nonstick coating seems durable and cleans up easily. The riveted handles on the glass lid and skillet are both fastened securely and the handles are comfortable to grip, I've had no issues with them getting hot to the touch during use. I chose the Sea Salt Grey and it's a nice neutral color. I was worried a bit about the painted finish but even after using it daily for the last few weeks the finish looks brand new, it washes well and doesn't scratch easily. I'm considering buying a second identical skillet and maybe even a full set, I've been impressed with the quality so far.

I received the skillet and there was a very small dent. Only reason it's not a 5 star. The dent did not comprimise the lid fit for a good seal, so I did not send it back. I suggest carefully reading the care instructions. It will not last near as long if you use aerosol non-stick products. Butter and a little oil goes a long way! Was super easy to clean and i do like the way it looks. It has a true flat bottom so I was not at all concerned about it scratching my fairly new cook top surface. Other cookwear that I have that syas it is safe will scratch the surface. I would highly recommend this!

I started out loving this, but after 3 or 4 uses, the bottom interior started peeling and the nonstick started flaking off. Very disappointed with this as I always thought Rachael Ray items were quality but this certainly was not. Had to return for refund.

The black nonstick surface has been coming off on food that we are cooking and we haven't been using it very much but have to return it or through out
