Tip: I mounted it on a 2x4 because I needed it to run perpendicular to joists. That turned out to be really handy. Just lay out all the measurements on the 2x4 instead of over your head on the ceiling. After you lay it out, use 3" lag bolts and lag it into your joists/rafters. All the hardware is high quality. Straight forward to install.

Built solid and easy to install.

so great I bought two more!
Does the job very well, sturdy, very easy to use (once installed). Has a safety mechanism that holds the bike up even with the rope hanging freely, which is a very nice feature. It was not the easiest to install, but doable. Instructions not clear about where EXACTLY to begin threading the rope. Answer: bring it through the end of the long rectangular base then immediately turn down and go through the square hole (round hole next to it is for the screw).

Easy to install
I bought this a month ago and am so happy with the lift. It allowed me to have room for storage and walkway. The prongs to fit perfect under my bar and seat. Easy use. I'm thinking of buying another for my spouse's bike.

Razor Bike Lift
This was easy to install and we were able to get our bikes out of the way for winter. It is also easy to drop down. For the money it is a great lift.
