Kids 7 and 10 love these! Assembly was pretty easy following Radio Flyer's YouTube video. Battery has lasted 1-1.5 hours each time. I wondered whether 11 mph was too lame, but it's faster than you might think. However, our slightly taller than average 10 yo boy already needs to spread his knees out to avoid the steering wheel - unsure if he'll comfortably fit a year from now.
My granddaughter loves it. with a slight imperfection in the speed selector (it sticks at times) it was perfect fit for her. It just took a long time to get i t. I was delightfully suprised when it arrived before Christmas
The kids love it but the tires wear easily. I'm having a hard time finding replacement back tires.
Great first car for my seven-year-old twin boys enjoy drive in the street and parking lots and parks
would have liked the wheels to be softer rubber still felt like hard plastic
During the assemby process make sure to check behind the battery on your left-side looking in. Look at picture. The white connectors make sure their connected. Kart wasnt charging after first use. I followed the wires from the charging port to the battery. Those connections wasnt together. As soon as i connected those to pieces kart started to charge
We had the same problem that MANY others have reported here - got it yesterday and immediately the kart kept stopping with the lights flashing. I called Radio Flyer CS and they said it's a wiring issue with the shifter, and I should just fiddle with the connector, but I can't figure it out. IF YOU BUY THIS KEEP THE BOX!!! Walmart won't take a return without the box, and you will probably need to return it. BTW like many others who commented here, we are upgrading from the red car, which has been SOLID for years!!! Very disappointed 5 yr old. :-(
it worked for about 40 minutes the first time we used it. Then we charged it overnight. I made sure the light came on the charger but couldn't tell if the car was actually charging. Apparently it did not take the charge. My grandson was so disappointed as he had 3 friends over and each rode for 4 minutes and it was too dead for him to get a turn. Charged it again overnight and this time I made sure the charge lights came on before he invited his friends over. The car Apparently didn't take the charge.
After the second ride battery only stays charged 10 minutes and power light blinks and no longer works
Some plastic parts are broken when package arrived.
