For any toddlers who are not quite ready for the peddles. No assembly needed. Instructions were pretty clear and easy to follow. Perfect for my kiddo!
I was given a used ride on tricycle that my little girl couldn't quite reach the pedals on and this worked perfectly for us.
Very easy to install. My toddler grandson can now ride on the bike while we push him. The footrest can easily be removed when he is ready to pedal himself.

Its exactly what I needed
This platform allows me to push my granddaughter without her feet dragging or jammed by the foot pegs. I wish this came with my older model trike. Be sure to call the Radio Flyer Support number if you don't see your specific model number. Mine wasn't listed. Very pleasant folks answered. Yay!
Bought this for my one year old son. He's tall so his feet would drag on the ground when we walked and he's too young to know how to pedal so this footrest helped soo much. It's easy to put on and now he can easily rest his feet until he can learn to pedal better.
We got the pink bike with a tray and a different foot rest, and the seat position is adjustable. After she used it a few times, it seemed like she just wasn't comfortable due to where her feet rested so we decided to bring the seat forward a little. With the tray still attached though, this pulled against the back of the seat and made her lean forward so that again, she didn't seem to be very comfortable. We then decided to take the tray off completely, but then she'd work her way out the side of the restraining straps. After we received this footrest, we were able to put the seat back to the original position. With the tray back on she now sits in a much more comfortable position and can't fall off the side of the bike.
This is the footrest that should come with the trike. The one that came with it was so awkward and my daughter was so uncomfortable. She is one and a half and her legs were too long for the footrest that came with it, but way too short to reach the pedals. This footrest is perfect for her and should work until her legs are long enough to pedal.
This is a great foot rest that I ordered a few days after my granddaughter got her trike. She is about 21 months but petite in size. I thought this would be a good transition till she could pedal but she didn't like it. Guess it will work for the next younger grandchild.
