Radio Flyer provided me with a free sample to test and try out. For ages 2-3 this is the perfect scooter to learn from. For ages 3 and up I believe the FX EZ Glider would be more appropriate (my daughter has a Micro Scooter that is built more like the EZ Glider and she is able to be more aggressive with it and fully enjoys it). The foot bed is wider which is great for a beginner. I liked how the adjustable handle had multiple eyelets that lock it in place in addition to the locking clamp which is a good safety feature. Definitely is the perfect "beginner scooter", not sure about the "grow with me part" since the max height of the handle is limited along with the plastic/type of wheels used not being as rugged. No "weight tilting" is built into the scooter so turning is also limited. The scooter was very easy to assemble and overall my 2 year old will love it!
Radio Flyer provided me with a free sample to test and try out- we were planning on purchasing a scooter for her this summer so it was a great opportunity to see how she could handle it! This is the ideal first scooter for a toddler, the foot board is wider than I expected which keeps her steady as she rides. She can navigate and steer well; it doesn't allow for sharp, angled turns which is a great safety precaution for her age. Set-up was easy and took about 5 minutes, and the product feels and looks very safe and secure. She is pretty average height for a 3 year old and we were able to find the perfect handlebar height, with room to adjust as she grows. The brake feature is awesome but something she'll have to grow into- even with repeated lessons from my husband she couldn't quite grasp the concept yet, but luckily can just use her foot to stop herself. I have a feeling this will soon be one of our most used spring/summer time toys!
Radio Flyer provided me with a free sample to try out. My girls love this scooter! My youngest is 2 & she loves to try to ride her big sisters scooters but has a hard time balancing on them because of the slim base, so we started searching for one that would be the best fit for her and this has exceeded all expectations. The base is wide enough for her, it's easy to push, and the handlebar is adjustable, so even my 6 year old can comfortably ride! The foot brake is a nice added feature as well, although more suited for the older ages. It has been a well loved scooter in our home & used daily! Overall, very please and would definitely recommend!
Radio Flyer provided me with a free sample to test and try out. My son is three years old and had never used a scooter before. This was a great new skill for him to learn. We are still practicing but I think he will get the hang of it soon. Assembly was easy.
I received this scooter for testing for my 2 and 4 year old. My 2 year old had lots of trouble with understanding the process on how to ride but my 4 year old caught on really quick. She loved it. She said she likes it way better than her bike. The only downside (which has nothing to do with the scooter itself) is that it was hard to ride on the broken up driveway but under the carport it rode smoothly. It was very easy to assemble. Much easier than the other items I've bought from them. It took about 10 minutes tops to put together. I'm so glad we got to experience this testing opportunity and so happy to add this scooter to the rest of our Radio Flyer collection! I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a scooter for their child(ren).
Radio flyer supplied me with this product to test. When received it was easy to unbox and put together using only a small wrench and Phillips screwdriver. The handle bar adjustment is quick and painless. When my daughter got on it she learned how to ride it very quickly. The quality seems to be good for their advertised price.
Radio Flyer provided me with a free sample to test and try out, and I'm glad I did. Taking it out of the packaging and assembly was easy. It said I needed a wrench and a screwdriver, but I was able to do it finger tight and with a pair of scissors. We had a lot of snow here so my daughter tried it out inside. There is a very wide base and she was able to balance two and one foot no problem. I pushed her around by the shoulders because steering and pushing was too much for her the first few times. I like that it was adjustable height so it fit her right away. We haven't tried out the brakes because she doesn't go that fast. We've tried it inside and out on the deck and it rides smoothly.
Radio Flyer provided us with a free sample to test and try out and we couldn't be happier with it. The setup itself was quick and simple which is always appreciated when you have impatient little ones ready to ride. We love that the handle can be easily adjusted for both our 3-year-old and 4-year-old to ride comfortably. It's a major perk for us to find products that can be used as our kids grow. The design of the wide base allows them to work on their balance as they ride with both feet on the scooter. Very pleased with the quality and sturdiness of the scooter as well.
I received this product to try free from Radio Flyer. My daughter is 2.5 years old and really loved it! It took her a few tries to understand how to use it. Since it's winter in IL we did it inside so I can't wait until we can get it outside. She tried sitting on it which didn't work but she slowly got the hang of riding with one foot. The handles are adjustable for different heights which is super nice! I would recommend only for those 2.5 and up because any younger and I don't think my daughter could have done it
We were given this scooter to test by RadioFlyer and I'm so glad they gave us the opportunity. My daughter absolutely loves it. She's 2 years old and is able to ride it with no issues
