My 2.5 year old desperately wanted this scooter because her older sister ( 5 years old) has one. The adjustable handle has 3 heights, making it a great fit for both of the girls with room to grow. Not only does it have 3 wheels for stability, but the two wheels being in the front protects her ankles. The lean to steer seems more intuitive and both girls mastered it in a short time. The part that they love is that this scooter can go fast because of the wheels. Lots of 3 wheel scooters have cheap plastic wheels that barely move. Not this one. It can move. Thank goodness for the break on the back wheel. The front wheels light up, but this scooter requires no batteries. All movement is kid powered, which I love.
This is the 3rd one of these we have purchased for our Autistic grandson. He rides it all the time and has worn two others out. Thanks for a great product!
I like this model because it has the two wheels in front which prevents the kids from hitting there heels with the two wheels in back. I would never recommend those we had one once and threw it out after bleeding ankles. The lean in feature is great allows my daughter to maneuver safely and she loves the light.
My 5 y/o daughter got this for her birthday and loves it! She is not the most coordinated kid, so the third wheel is perfect! Her and my 7 y/o son love how the wheels light up. The leaning to turn is a bit of a learning curve but she caught on pretty quickly
This has worked really well for my four year old, who is on the tall side. She loves it and it has seen a lot of use in the two weeks that we've owned it. She caught onto balancing, leaning to turn, and using the break with a little practice, and I feel it is a lot safer for her than a two wheeled scooter.
It takes a little bit to get the hang of it because you have to lean to turn vs. Turning the handlebars. It's pretty cool once they figure it out. It also loosens up after a few rides which makes the turns easier. I wish there was a bigger version cause my 13 year old love's it too. He and I helped break it in. Pretty sturdy.
The new light-up wheels were an exciting surprise for my boys, and it's so easy to adjust the height for two different aged boys. The handlebar is soft and comfortable.
I gifted this 3 wheeled Radio Flyer scooter to my 2nd grandson because he loved his big brother's so much. He was THRILLED! He spent the entire Christmas afternoon riding it because he now didn't have to share.. they could ride together!! Assembly was easy and quick. I highly recommend this scooter. Radio Flyer still ROCKS!!!!
It's not a good set up have to lean to make it turn
Styrofoam handles too big for little hands
