I was visiting a friend in NY, and all her family had these gigantuous toothbrushes. I was spitting with her and making fun of how large they were, and she said , “Don't knock it till you try it. I thought the same thing.”. So she bought one for me, while I was there (that was in 2009). I WAS SOLD!!! (even though it felt unusual at first due to the size) I've been using them EVER SINCE! It feels absolutely abnormal to put a standard size toothbrush in my mouth! My mouth feels as if I am able to do such a better job of getting everywhere! I allllways brush my tongue and rod off my mouth also, and this just has MUCH better coverage for that as well. Thank you for such a unsuspecting (I'd never seen them before her house) but great product, Mucho mucho KUDOS!!! The only negative is when I buy replacement heads, the replacement heads are soooooo much smaller than the ones that come when you purchase the entire brush. I purchase them (brush and heads at our local health food store. That has been very frustrating, because I have felt forced to purchase a new brush each time. But as far as brushing teeth, there's not a better toothbrush in my opinion! 100 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I can understand how size of the toothbrush head might be jarring for some, but it is the perfect sensory experience for me as an autistic adult. It takes up proper space, the bristles are soft enough not to hurt but sturdy enough to get the job done, the handle is excellent for my level of motor skills... I've struggled to brush my teeth all my life and now I don't struggle anymore. It's pricey-- sometimes too much for me to afford-- but it's absolutely essential to my routine. I highly recommend RADIUS to anyone who needs to change the sensory experience of brushing their teeth.
I hope you come back with the six pack of these in the multi color or all one color and I will buy several 6 packs today.
I've been using Radius toothbrushes for years - maybe for years and years, and I just like them. Nothing special to say other than it just one of those things. I like the toothpaste and I like all the other accessories.
very good product
I've been using the large-head Radius toothbrush from at least 20 years now. I used to buy them at my Dentist's office (Dr. Nevin Cope in Orefield PA) after each of my bi-yearly check-ups. I don't think they were available in stores back then. I lived in Maxatawny Township very close to the Radius headquarters in Kutztown PA, and remember speaking to a member of the Radius team at an event either at the Rodale Farm or at the Kempton Fairgrounds. I suggested that Radius start making replaceable large heads to reduce plastic waste. The woman from Radius who was at the table said I could buy the small-head replacement brushes, which I did, but I just wasn't happy with the size. I really like the large head brush. Anyways, many years later, I was in a Sprouts grocery store in Palm Harbor, FL, looking for a new Radius toothbrush, and came across the large head model with the replacement brushes. I bought it then ordered a 2-pack of replacement heads off the Radius website. All I can say is, it's about time that Radius came out with the replaceable large head brushes!
I recommend radius to anyone, I have been using radius for many years the only toothbrush that I use and always will be using guarantee, Love everything about it and I will never Go back to a regular toothbrush, like they say big is better, You can feel your whole mouth being washed tongue teeth and gums,
Great replacement for my older one. Somehow, I feel like my toothpaste doesn't foam up as much with this one. My older ones weren't replaceable heads and might have had more bristles? I'm hopeful that it will just take some time and foam will return, but either way I do think it's getting the job done. Also, worth noting that this style/color has a wart on the back of the brush that is unfinished - likely the results of the material or the 3D printing process. I wish it would have been polished over. It is defined and clearly seen in pictures though.
I was a little surprised to learn that you no longer offer the 6 packs of the Original Radius Toothbrush is assorted colors and now I'm forced to purchased them individually with a case. This is incredibly wasteful because I don't need this many cases. I ordered 2 cases years ago and I still use the same ones when I travel. Please bring back the assorted color six packs with no cases.
If it wasn't for the bristles falling out and stabbing your mouth, as well as posing a safety risk if swallowed, this would be my all time fave toothbrush. Great clean, comfortable, but I'm tired of fishing loose bristles out of the back of my mouth. This is my third try hoping it was just an anomaly; it isn't.
