It wasn't hard to put together although having two people makes all the difference. It's sturdy but the design is open so it doesn't look overwhelming in the room.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Where do I start? I'm completely shocked at how beautiful this bed is! At first before we put it together I didn't think I would like it much but after it was complete I was wrong! The color is pure white,bright & beautiful. I love the design & structure. It's very sturdy & doesn't shake like most bunks do. The only thing I seen while assembling was that inside of the wooden pieces had chips it was busted in places & the hole for the hardware wouldn't fit because of dried paint so I had to dig it all out to put together but overall ITS WORTH IT! my son is obsessed with his new bed!
