Ragu Double Cheddar Sauce, Made with Real Cheese, 15.5 oz Tetra Pack

I ORDERED 5 Ragu Double Cheddar Cheese but, I ONLY RECEIVED 4!

The new packaging offers an ounce less than the jar for almost $1 more in price. However, this cheese sauce is like no other. It's thick and creamy enough for burgers, fries, chicken nuggets, and a variety of anything else. It doesn't stiffen up like other cheese dips do when no longer hot. I wish they would bring back the jar but I'll keep buying it as Velveeta and cheese wiz just don't hold a match to this sauce.

I like the taste, the thickness and the look. I do not like the box container. I am elderly, live alone and have arthritis in my hands. It was very difficult to open for proper pouring. It was also hard to cut with scissors. The box looked pretty beat up by the time I got it open. I understand environmentally paper is preferable, but I don't like the final packaging for ease of use.

ever since they changed this cheese's packaging from the glass jar it's not as good. it says same recipe, but it just doesn't seem the same. and it's harder to get all the cheese out with the new package.

Hate new box - arthritic hands can’t open. As a low-carb forever home, Ragu Cheeses Sauce is a staple in our cupboard. It was awful when it went off market and then came back in a package arthritic hands can’t open, box won’t seal, sauce is not same, costs more, less product. Please bring glass jar back.

As many of the other reviews say, the new package is HORRIBLE. Bring back the glass container. ALL the other sauces of this size, both marinaras and cheeses are in glass jars. WHY is this one in the most rediculous cardboard box? It is difficult to open, especially without making a mess. It is time consuming to open without making a mess. For some reason you get less now, it costs more and it's never in stock at the store, so you have to get it shipped! Oh, and the container is not resealable, so use it all or dirty a container. The glass jar you could just throw in the fridge. This was a HORRIBLE idea. The sauce is good though.

YOU MADE A BIG MISTAKE. I have been buying this in the jar since it came out. Bragged about it to anyone who would listen. Made my famous Mac and cheese for our family get together and the cheese was nasty. It wouldn't stay on the noodles it awful. Had throw away 3lbs of Mac and Cheese. You ruined a good thing. Now I have to try and find a substitute.

I agree with the others, ❤ the taste of the sauce, EXTREMELY DISLIKE the new packaging. For what I use it for, I typically only use 1/3 of the contents at a time. My preference is keep it in the same container, like the jar it used to come in, screw the lid back on and store it in the fridge. The new packaging takes storage convenience away. And again agreeing with others, do not like that the price was jacked up when the new packaging was introduced.

I would give this zero stars if I could. Less sauce than the orginal jarred version, but the price is significantly higher. The sauce is more watery in the box, and it tastes different. The box really isnt a sufficient container to store lefover sauce in. This is a bad idea all the way through. I used to buy 2 jars of Ragu cheese sauce a week. Now I buy zero. Their tomato sauces also seem to be going downhill.

Just white cheese that's artificially colored to be yellow. If you're fine with white cheese you won't mind but pretty awful when using it for macaroni and cheese. Got that signature sour after taste of white cheese.
