RAGU Old World Style Traditional Pasta Sauce, 24 oz

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The perfect sauce for spaghetti, pizza, and more. This jar definitely came in handy and allowed me to experiment with different foods/ ingredients.

My family has been using RAGU Traditional Sauce for years. We find it the best around. Not too sweet, not too tart, leaves no after taste and is in general, delicious. The price is reasonable and they do have a variety of choices for RAGU products. Good stuff!

Ragu was here before most other brands, and flavors, were hitting the shelves. Americans loved Ragu, but as with everything, people always go for the bigger, better, and more expensive, whether it really tastes good or not. Ragu has been, and will remain, our family's favorite sauce, whether for spaghetti, lasagna, or other Italian-style foods. You can always amp it up by adding extras to it, like Italian sausage, lots of garlic, and/or fresh garden vegetables, but it's that "traditional" Ragu base that just makes it remain our favorite pasta sauce on the market. I've tried the $7 and $8 jars before, and you couldn't pay me to eat that high-priced flavorless sauce. All you're buying is a name. Not me. I'd rather buy Ragu and use the extra money for a baguette, salad fixings, or dessert.

This is the only spaghetti sauce I eat and have for many years. It taste great, not too sweet or bitter. I add lots of garlic powder and let simmer on low for a decent amount of time. The longer I let it simmer the better the taste imo.

Great fresh taste plus healthier than many other brands. Low sugar and sodium. This was recommended by the dietician. If I don't make the pasta sauce at home this is the one I buy. Have been for years.

Amazing pasta sauce...great taste great texture great consistency...I love this so much I drink it out of the bottle, not kidding...I love it on toast with some thin slices of hard salami

Ragu Trafitional sauce its in the name all the loaded spices , tomatoes, vegetables in the sauce. great in spaghetti, lasagna , pizza . The flavor is delicious and the aroma is amazing coming through the house while cooking. The jar has a pop top and a thick jar to seal in freshness. It comes in multiple varieties for your taste.

The product comes in the jar glass, which is good. You can refrigerate the remaining sauce. If you don’t use it all the taste is not spicy or salty and it taste great and my spaghetti or any other sauce meals you would like to make ragu is my number one pick

Since tomatos in store taste like cardboard, guess the ones used to make sauces taste the same. I simmer for a bit and add more herbs, garlic, butter and whorchesteer sauce to make it better. Cant wait for my garden tomatos to come in. I'll freeze gallons of them. And my garden basil is best.

This pasta sauce is our old favorite partially due to its cost. I like a more Vodka sauce texture and flavor so occasionally, I'll add alfredo sauce to Ragu to obtain the consistency I like, but my husband likes the Ragu right out of the jar.
