During the summer months, we, as well as our neighbors, have all these flies that fly around our entry doors. So when either you're leaving or entering, you get hit with all these flies. Since using this product and placing it by our door, within two days, the stick is totally covered with captured flies.
Very good, I got some for my church. We have trouble with flies in the winter months in the windows inside. I put one of these fly catchers in each window and didn't take long to catch the flies. Keep one out at my house in the kitchen to catch any flies or gnats. I highly recommend this product.
OK if you have a bad fruit/drain fly problem these will be completely gross before you know it. Awesome, it is working. I have some effective zappers which do well. However save those for the bathroom sink as those bug bodies will stay where they lay while the sticks catch them and keep them. These are EXTREMELY sticky so make certain away from children %26 pets. My cat decided to climb and with one twitch of her tail it was glued down tight all the way down to her butt. By the way, after pulling out masses of hair, baby oil will help get most the stick out…eventually……, 🐈⬛ Put these where flies are most apt to congregate ….. I use bait but NOT in the stick cup. It is cardboard. But a little piece of banana or terror fly trap is another draw. Definitely want light on it. You can hang it or stand it up (where it can't be bumped, tipped or touched)
We were hit by an invasion of fruit flies when a wayward banana attracted them...which we finally found had fallen down btwn the cupboards. We still don't know where those pesky little things come from, but were absolutely shocked at how many were on the fly sticks. So we did a 2nd round, just in case more were hanging out that we weren't aware of. They also caught a couple of flies that had made it in the house through an open door, and were driving the dogs crazy trying to catch them. You can use them sitting on something, in the perforated box they come in, or take them out and hang them with the little plastic hooks on the ends. But don't put them where your pets or children cn get to them, or where they could fall and attach to something, because they're really sticky. These fly sticks were so easy to use and did an amazing job trapping an amazing number of the flying pests and we recommend them.
on this other strips I bought two of these and four of the other kind of strips put them up at the same time within a foot of each other the other strip has not caught a single fly and there's about a hundred flies on this kind this is all I will ever use again
I am amazed! I placed these in my seedling greenhouse for houseplants to control soil gnats. very efficient. this is a safer way that is non toxic as opposed to using bug sprays. Very very sticky. prettier than fly traps. in the photos you can see the spots which are the gnats already being controlled. I absolutely love these.
When you put these in the right spot, they seem to work better than any other yellow sticky thing they say is supposed to work better for those tiny bugs that seem to want to fly into your eyes and nose and drive you insane. And you can buy them independently, so it's a nominal cost to see if it works for you too.
After a week's trial my score was 1 house fly and 6 fruit flies. Its location was next to the food preparation area. After my trial period, my old yellow hand fly swatter yielded about 2 dozen house flies in the same area. Does seem to work fairly well on fruit flies. big disappointment otherwise.
This item had been opened and the inside cover had been removed so when I pulled it out of the box I accidentally touched the tube and had the sticky layer all over. It was near impossible to get off. I went ahead and tried hanging it and it did nothing to catch flies.
I follow directions on the box, I used honey for bait, I hung it by hook provided in a similar location as recommended on the box right by the outdoor entrance in the heavily fly trafficked area and watch and waited, watching as flies flew around and near for hours, totally oblivious and ineffective by traps present! A total waste of time, energy and money! “RAID” should be embarrassed to put there company brand on such a poor quality product! For shame, for shame! 👎🏼
