This is a great product. I live in Arizona and that means roaches, wind scorpions, fire ants and, poisonous spiders. We used to spend $30 every 3 months or so to employ a service to come into our home and spray for these critters. The problem was, the bugs would be back sooner than later and I hated having a stranger come into the house. I decided to try this out. This product is a superior bug spray even compared to what the pro's were using. The day I spray I can immediately see a difference in the crawlies around the house. They are just gone. Not only are they gone but they aren't heaped up near my entrances in gross, twitching piles. They just aren't there. We no longer get poisoned bugs crawling under door jams and dying in corners. On top of its superior quality bug killing/repelling effect it's also much easier to use than others we've tried. The battery operated spray handle saves me the discomfort of spraying the whole outer perimeter and the indoor areas. I have tendonitis in my forearms and this just eliminates the discomfort. I'm on my 4th refill and the original batteries in the sprayer are still hanging in there. I'll keep buying it if they can keep it on the shelves. OH! and this does work on fire ants, german roaches, water beetles and spiders of all varieties. Yes, it's more expensive than some of the cheaper options but I'm telling you it's worth it.
Works great at keeping ants away, I treat my patio 2-3 times a year and never have to worry about my kids getting bit.
I only spray this outside...I use a lot because I'm so paranoid about roaches getting inside. I find it's a little pricey, but it's worked at actually keeping the roaches out. I find dead ones outside, but for the first time in 17 years at my house, I'm not seeing seeing any inside since I started using this specific barrier-type product.
I really don't understand the 1 star reviews aside from mechanical failure issues, which yeah the trigger leaks after a while spraying and doesn't seem to do well when using a refill bottle (the seal never seems to be as good) , but when you're doing battle with German cockroaches or living in a very spider rich environment nothing else comes close. So I can forgive a lot for a product that actually works. If the sprayer sucks just buy your own and fill it as needed.
I wanted something which would keep the bugs away from my door and porch light! There are many bugs where I live and some are venomous (scorpions, spiders, wasps and stinging ants). Not to mention all the flies and mosquitos! So I bought the smaller bottle with the battery operated sprayer and a large refill bottle as well. I applied it around my porch and light area as well as other areas where I had seen activity. My neighbors have cockroaches and I don't want those coming my way so I applied a 'line' of it between their domicile and mine. So far it has nuked all the bugs, including a couple scorpions and several cockroaches! It was a mass kill around my porch light! It seems to keep killing for quite a while after initial application as well (4 weeks). Very satisfied!
I've lived in apartments of various types almost all my life, I've never found one without some problem with roaches. My mom has always exclusively used Raid products, without problem. So when I saw evidence of roaches in my apartment, I went for Raid products. I bought this product a month ago, scrubbed down my kitchen, and put down the spray. I followed the directions exactly, but it has been completely ineffective. I'm still seeing bugs at the same rate as before, so now I'm calling an exterminator. This was a complete waste of time and money.
I can't believe I'm having to write this. I have in the last 3 days purchased 2 gallon sizes and 1 30oz size of the bug barrier with auto trigger. The first gallon size trigger lasted for about 10 minutes then stopped working. It sounded like it was trying to pull the liquid, but nothing was coming out. New batteries didn't help. I thought it may have been a fluke so I went out and bought a second gallon size. SAME THING HAPPENED. Now, I just went to the store and bought a 30oz with auto trigger and 5 minutes in - it stopped working too. THIS IS COMPLETELY INSANE. WHAT IS GOING ON..? I'm now out $50 total and have containers of chemical that I can't get to spray. Horrible experience.
Would love to be able to review this product BUT, since the auto trigger won't work on on the 64 ounce bottle kinda hard to review something that the company sells that is junk. Just so you know, I worked for NASA as an Mechnical Technician and can make most anything work. I took the sprayer apart and primed the pump. but it still will not get enough suction to pull the liquid thru the hose to the sprayer. this thing MIGHT work if it were screwed directly to the top of the bottle as shown in the smaller bottle size, but since I had purchased the 64 ounce bottle, it requires a hose. My suggestion is don't buy this product unless you have a spray bottle to pour it into that doesn't require batteries to operate.
I applied first then i was wondering that it is really works or not. Caught two adults and apply directly. First they act as died, then start to runaway faster then before. Two days later i put small amt of Melathonin which least powerful againt them, died in contact.. tried with nymphs too..still looking for best chemical..:(
I purchased this product because of an influx of stink bugs and box elder bugs (which label said it would kill). Sprayed product around sliding door off deck. All that happened was that the bugs laughed at me, then tried to bombard me. Looks like I wasted the $8.00 I spent.
