Raid Wasp %26 Hornet Killer is not a spray—it's a pressurized judgment day in a can. With a 17.5 oz payload and sniper-level reach, it annihilates nests from a safe distance, turning buzzing battalions into instant silence. One blast, and the skies clear. No mercy. No survivors. Just cold justice for the airborne invaders. Backyard peace has a new enforcer—and it's spelled R-A-I-D.
I'm allergic to wasps but I could stand far enough away to spray the nest %26 kill the wasps myself! One spray, then one spray the next day %26 the nest was dead! I sprayed all along the house as a preventative %26 so far, we are wasp free! A good value too.
Got stung by a paper wasp. Bought this and sprayed the nest with them on it. No more worries of getting stung again. Worked extremely fast! Spray travels a long way!
I love this especially the spray somehow you can spray it in a mist and hold it a different way and it sprays in a stream so it's perfect for getting at that nest. so you can go from wasps to spiders and ants but just the way you spray it.
Fast knock down long stream new grey design doesn't have the angle of spray as black can use to shoot 20ft up on house in steep angle grey can only shoots about 17ft and careful on angle or will mist instead of stream don't feel same effectness on kills
First and foremost , I always wear gloves when spraying this. if it's windy i'm covered up. i only do it at night. and I soak the nest. i make sure to look for other nests that I might not have noticed. next day no problem.
Definitely recommend sticking with the Raid brand. It hasn't failed to kill wasps almost instantly. I used an off brand recently when Walmart was sold out of Raid. Ended up taking about half the can to kill a single wasp as it kept getting back up and flying around.
Raid Wasp killer if so much better than hot shot! The Hot Shot brand is a foam I don't like that, this one you can stand way far back and kill those little suckers LOL always always raid the best.
It's been quite reliable for me winning most of the battles that have occurred in this war between the wasps and I.
Apparently, this is now the new RAID 33, but RAID does not describe the cans as such. RAID and Spectracide Pro were the only two sprays I knew of that had residual killing ability. RAID was very good in this respect. I have noticed that this new product does not seem to have residual killing ability. I questioned regarding residual killing because the can no longer touts that ability and received a response from SC Johnson rep. that this "kills on contact". This does seem to kill only on contact, which is insufficient for me. Beware of any reviews more than several months old, which might be about the previous product,
