Rain Bird SST900I 9 Zone Irrigation/Sprinkler Timer

So easy to mount and hook up. Programming was so simple and so easy to program each zone separately. Also the water all zones now or a specific zone now feature is fantastic. The easiest timer to program yet. Would recommend this timer to everyone!

It seems to be a great replacement for one that we bought 20 years ago.

This product worked perfectly after its installation. I really recommend it.

Easy to install, good price and quick delivery

Fairly simple and easy to install. Only issue is the connection points are a bit hard to get the wire secured.

Good value for the low price. A light weight, low end, Rainbird controller. I have worked with over 15 different controllers over the years. This controller has many capabilities and is desiged to be easy for homeowners to use. The fact that it can handle up to 9 stations is what makes it a good value at its price. Note wires do not attach with metal screws. Rather, wires just plug in. The wire plug-in levers are small and kind if cheesy. If you only need 6 or less stations, there are other controller options available within the market. Yet if you have 7-9 stations this product can be a good option.

Very difficult to install the wires, they are very close to each other. Rain Bird company needs to improve the separation the wire slots and make the wire release very visible and easy to use. Another thing about this unit, is the the florescent digital number should be also with very visible color ready to read.

I bought this and installed it in about 30 minutes. I set the time and date and then tried to water the lawn. It turns out that it won't work with every system even though my whole system is a Rainbird. A local lawn sprinkler company could have come and made it work for almost $200. They could also install their own timer for about that same money. I sent this one back and let the professionals do their job.

It arrived quicker then expected, works fine, thank you.

The item received was for 6 zones. I ordered a 9 zone controller. Box was labeled as 9 zone but it was 6. Box looked like the item was repackaged. Had To send the item back for a credit.
