Rain-Mate Folding Travel Umbrella, Auto Open Close Windproof Umbrella for Rain and Sun

Just what I needed. Holds up to high winds and doesn't invert or close during windy days. Opens easy and sturdy handle locks well in place. I taped the handle with black electrician tape stretching tightly onto a shepherds hook over my small bird fountain to shade and hide them from predator hawks. Works well! Surprised how sturdy it is and holds up to high winds without it inverting at all. Hose off bird droppings easily, repels water nicely. I spent more money for a previous umbrella and this one is sturdier and cost $25 less! Will buy again when this one wears out.

Auto open and close , great size, folds to compact size so easy to keep in side pocket of car. Haven’t used in wind yet so can’t tell how well it will do

This is an average umbrella, like most you find at any drug store. Doesn't feel very sturdy so idk if I would trust it in strong gusts of wind, but it is fine for regular rain days. It's a good average size for one person which is fine w/ me, I don't like oversized umbrellas that get in the way and take up all the sidewalk space lol Like many have stated, it is quite difficult to push down after closing, if you have issues such as arthritis or other mobility issues, you may want to pass on this one. I do love a white umbrella and for some reason they are difficult to find, so I'm glad this one was available.

The overall build appears to be durable and the material seems good quality, but when I opened up the umbrella for the first time after receiving it, the cap on the top broke off (probably from the force of the umbrella opening). Now, I'm worried if I use it, the canopy will come off from the top. I don't know if it's worth the trouble of trying to return it, though. I would think for the price I paid for it, it would last a little longer before things started breaking off of it.
