The purchasing process was ridiculous. The online price was $5 cheaper than in the store price. I stood in front of the full display of the product, opened the app, ordered the item, finished my shopping, got a message my order was ready, then drove to the pick up area to retrieve the item which I was literally holding in my hand 30mins before.
We have been buying windshield wipers for our cars since the 1970s. I finally, after trial and error, settled for the Rain-X Latitudes after reading some good reviews. We kept buying these as replacement wipers as they are quiet, wipe the water off cleanly and last us on both our vehicles for two to three years. We do, however, park our cars in the garage at all times and are also retired. For the money, a good value.
I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this product! Super durable and is excellent while it's raining or snowing!!! I'll definitely purchase this product for my other 2 cars!!!
I love the Walmart service, they will put them on for free if you purchase them at Walmart. That was a great selling point for me. Also, RainX is a great brand that we trust.
Both the 24 and 19 inch blades I purchased for my sedan do a terrific job coearing my windshield when not of course fighting against bird and insect deposits. They're too highly priced everywhere so I get them at Walmart since their prices are usually a bit more reasonable - when they have them in stock that is. Because they clean well I put up with finding them a bit difficult to mount.
My OEM wipers were 2 years old so I replaced the drivers side with the Rain X wiper and left the stock one on the other side. After 5 months the Rain X was streaking and doing a poor job of cleaning the windshield. The 2 year old wiper on the other side was doing a much better job clearing my windshield. The Rain X has good ratings but didn't work for me.
I live in Monterey, CA where it's always a bit cold and humid. We get fog and beach spray. These wipers are NOT designed for that type of usage. A bit of water every day kind. After about 5 days they became incredibly streaky and made visibility awful. The wipers were an actual hazard. If you live in a humid or wet environment, skip these and get regular wipers and experiment with Rain X spray products instead
These were easy enough to install and came with adapter pieces. I ordered them because of all the good reviews, but I honestly hate them. They leave streaks all over my windshield, and of course, the biggest streak of water spots is right in front of the driver lol. I hate I spent so much on them and that I threw the packaging away before I tried them. And yes, I've tried wiping them, cleaning them, etc, but nothing has helped the streaking.
I should have kept my old blades, they were 200% more functional than these. Really I purchased 2 sets for my truck and my wife's car ( same lengths) . From the start they streaked from each blade a total waste of money. If I hadn't destroyed both of our packages I would have returned them. Rain-Ex should not be in the business of wiper blades, just stick with your windshield solvent and not profit as much as with these Pieces Of S_it!!!
spent more money for the rain x blades, they are the worst windshield wipers i have ever purchased. they smear everything around and leave your windshield absolutely filthy!
