Rain-x Pro Graphene Exterior Detailer is an excellent product for rejuvenating your car's finish. After washing my car, then drying it, I parked it in the garage (away from sun & heat) and applied this spray-on detailer to the front grill area and the hood. Following the directions on the bottle, and using lint-free cloth, I sprayed small sections (maybe 18" x 18"), working the solution in circular motions til uniformly spread. Then using a dry micro fiber cleaning cloth, I buffed the area til all the slight haze disappeared, buffing to a slippery, shiny surface. Excellent, shiny finish. the front grill area of my Lexus, plus the hood didn't take more than 12 minutes to buff to a shiny, slippery, glossy finish. The bottle has an excellent gripping form; ergonomic grip, easy enough to reach the spray trigger. The spray nozzle puts out a very even mist spray to cover your work area (again, I spray an 18-inch square area when working on the hood, or larger areas like the roof, sides and trunk areas.) For smaller, narrow areas, I simply spray my application cloth. This detailer spray is excellent for either touch-up, or for the whole vehicle (if you have the time and patience for the job!) Right now, with springtime, and summer months around the corner, lots of flying insects get smooshed onto the hood and front grill area. After a good washing and soft-scrub, this Rain-x spray detailer is ideal to restore a glossy wax finish...resulting in a lot less bug spatter, and an easier clean-up on the bigger bug splats!

the new cars today have a black matted plastic panel under the doors and rocker panels.i live in new england some times the road salt sticks to these panels.the rain x detailer removes everthing and makes these panels look like new the car is also black so the picture may not show the resuts.very nice

Well I have used it on 2 cars already. I own a metallic silver car and on a black car. The shine is beautiful but now need to see how long it will last under Florida sun. You must follow the detailed instructions and only do a small area at a time. I washed and dried both cars and out of the sun applied a small amount on certain areas. You must use a microfiber towel and keep buffing to remove all residue. It looks great and towels will slide off the hood. Can't overdue an area and keep turning the towels as you go. So far I'm happy with this product but on a black car you must keep turning the towel till all clean. Thought it would be a little easier to use. Goes on fast and does spread and go a long way and taking it off is a little more difficult than I thought. Will keep using it one section at a time and and hope it holds up. So far happy with this product and looks professional. Long time rain-X customer so wanted to try this one. So far not disappointed. Keep it looking good!

By far, this has been my detailer spray for the past month or so. Very easy to use and apply to your car. One piece of advice is just to make sure to use it when the outside of the car is cold, do not apply when is hot. My car detailing lasted for weeks with no dirt, or watermarks. Great product, this is one I highly recommend.

I compared the Black Magic Intense Graphene Quick Detailer and the RainX Pro Graphene Exterior Detailer side by side. Really, there is no comparison. They are the same product made by the same company, just packaged differently. The cost is about $15 dollars a bottle and I used about a third of a bottle to do a full size car. How did it work? Pretty good. I followed directions, doing it on a cool day in the shade. I rinsed the car using a mitt to get most of the loose dust, dirt, and pollen off (I live in the south where pine pollen is a problem in the spring). I then went around the car one panel at a time spraying enough product to cover to cover each area, and wiped each area spreading it evenly with a cloth. The cloth got damp with product after about half the car, but, as the directions recommended, I used a dry cloth to finish or "buff" as I went along. The product is pretty "greasy" and the final buff is the important part of the process. It says to use on "all exterior surfaces" so I did the wheels, tires, glass, headlights, and black trim as well. It worked great on the tires giving a deep clean flat black finish to the rubber. The black trim came out nice as well - not very shiny, but "restoring" the finish in these areas. The glass was hard to polish and took the most time and effort to get right, but the product did leave a nice clean shine on the glass and the extra effort paid off. Yes. You can use the product on all exterior surfaces and it does leave a nice clean finish in each of the areas I mentioned. The finish on the painted areas was still a little greasy in some areas a day later but overall there was a very smooth coating and shine comparable to a carnuba paste wax product. In fact it was a little more slick and smooth than paste wax and the car did not have to be as clean to use the spay wax. it took me about an hour to do the whole car including the pre-wash. Overall the whole car comes out looking detailed and it was a much faster process than using different products for each area. The paint is shiny and smooth and areas like the tires and trim are flat and clean. The process was much easier than using paste wax and came out looking professional.

I wash my car a lot so I was looking for something to keep the grime off in between washes, this stuff fits the bill perfect!! It's super simple to apply, just spray on and wipe off but beware, don't use it on a dirty vehicle. For best results, spray and wipe after a thorough wash or hard rainstorm. It also does a great job on painted plastic and fiberglass surfaces too, worked great on my convertible hard top. Great stuff and highly recommended, everything you need is right in the box including a couple buffing cloths!

The package was in great condition and was well packaged. Upon using it, it was easy to use and looked great, though there are some problems that I had. Since I live in a rural area and it gets dirty after a bit which is Bothersome. This is a great product and I would recommend this for anyone.

This is some good Rain-x Pro Graphene Exterior Detailer. I applied this to my white 2016 Jeep Patriot after having my vehicle washed. It makes the surfaces slick and seems to keep the bugs off while I am traveling. Also, I applied this to the windshield, sunroof,side mirrors and outside mirror assembly. The water beads up and rolls right off the glass making for clear visibility while driving and not having to use/wear our my wiper motor and blades. So far this seems to be better than the current Rain-X solution because the Rain-X windshield solution use to be just as good as this current Rain-X product. I recommend this product.

Rain-X is a well-known product. The instructions state to single-use micro fiber cloths, one of which is included with the product. If I were to use microfiber cloths to clean and polish my entire small car, I would need at least 4 to 6 cloths. Instead, I used about half a roll of paper towels and got the job done. This product does clean very well, and it does result in a water-repellant finish. In the attached picture, the right side of the hood has been cleaned with Rain-X and the water beads up on the surface. Washing my car at the the car wash provides the same result without the water-repellency, so I would use Rain-X once a year (in the spring) for that reason.
