Works great on paint and glass . Water runs right off!
Cleaned my car and then applied the Rain-x. It was very easy to apply and made a very slick surface. At first there were a few swirl marks but additional buffing eliminated them. I am very please with this product and will purchase it again for my car finish. Looks like it will be a very long lasting shine.
Rain-x Pro Graphene Exterior Detailer comes 8in a 23 oz. squirt bottle lays the most amazing finish that I have ever seen. It's a detail;er that I have used on two cars, one four wheeler and a few other things I used it on. I'm impressed first by how easy it is to use. Anything plastic, metal and just about any surface where you want a deep, clean shine. Rain-x Pro Graphene Exterior Detailer is the finest detailer I have used. If it has the Rain-X name you can be assured it's a quality product. You don't have to use a whole lot of it for great results. Depending on how many items you use this product on, the 23 ou. bottle will last a good while. I am forever hooked on the Rain-x Pro Graphene Exterior Detailer and I am happy to say that this is my new go to detailer. Try this with the utmost faith that it will do a fantastic job for you.
since i do have other products that i use on my vehicle's paint to keep it maintained, i decided to use this product specifically for my Glossy Black Painted Wheels because this product works EXCELLENT with keeping Dust off the painted surface with its sleek feel after you are done using the product correctly. after testing it for a week driving my car in normal traffic conditions at the end of the week i was able to simply wipe off a week's worth of brake dust off my painted wheels with a microfiber cloth with zero effort on my part. i know that this is intended for the vehicle's body but it worked better on my wheels. considering that my wheels are glossy black, this is the area where you can really put this product to the test! (what gets dust faster then the rest of the car? your wheels from brake dust! so this was the best way to test this product) Overall i am very happy with the Rain-X Graphene Exterior Detailer Spray, i would just advice to please follow the directions mainly doing this when your car is under some shade and the area you are going to apply the spray is cool to the touch to make applying the Detailer Spray easy to buff off by hand. otherwise you could end up having to work harder and possibly need to spray some more Detailer spray and waste more then you should have or use a bit of water but lose some of its effectiveness. other then that, the other recommendation would be to use a high quality cleaning type microfiber cloth that has the short strands, not the big puffy one as that will just absorb some of the product and smear it everywhere instead of removing the haze to create the shine and protection. i highly recommend it specially for black glossy painted cars or painted wheels!
I compared the Black Magic Intense Graphene Quick Detailer and the RainX Pro Graphene Exterior Detailer side by side. Really, there is no comparison. They are the same product made by the same company, just packaged differently. The cost is about $15 dollars a bottle and I used about a third of a bottle to do a full size car. How did it work? Pretty good. I followed directions, doing it on a cool day in the shade. I rinsed the car using a mitt to get most of the loose dust, dirt, and pollen off (I live in the south where pine pollen is a problem in the spring). I then went around the car one panel at a time spraying enough product to cover to cover each area, and wiped each area spreading it evenly with a cloth. The cloth got damp with product after about half the car, but, as the directions recommended, I used a dry cloth to finish or "buff" as I went along. The product is pretty "greasy" and the final buff is the important part of the process. It says to use on "all exterior surfaces" so I did the wheels, tires, glass, headlights, and black trim as well. It worked great on the tires giving a deep clean flat black finish to the rubber. The black trim came out nice as well - not very shiny, but "restoring" the finish in these areas. The glass was hard to polish and took the most time and effort to get right, but the product did leave a nice clean shine on the glass and the extra effort paid off. Yes. You can use the product on all exterior surfaces and it does leave a nice clean finish in each of the areas I mentioned. The finish on the painted areas was still a little greasy in some areas a day later but overall there was a very smooth coating and shine comparable to a carnuba paste wax product. In fact it was a little more slick and smooth than paste wax and the car did not have to be as clean to use the spay wax. it took me about an hour to do the whole car including the pre-wash. Overall the whole car comes out looking detailed and it was a much faster process than using different products for each area. The paint is shiny and smooth and areas like the tires and trim are flat and clean. The process was much easier than using paste wax and came out looking professional.
My car was already shiny, but I could still see a little difference in the shine after applying Rain-X Pro Graphine detailer. Seems to be very slick. Only time will tell if it lasts or not. It's as good if not better than any detailer wax I've used in the past.
I was a bit worried about this product brand because I use their other products a lot. Was I wrong, it went on very easy I let set it for 30 sec and wiped it off. I decided to try it with my buffer for fun and it came out even better. I will be buying more of this product when I am out of it. Thank You for allowing me to test this product.
I got this product to shine up the car and try and keep it shiny by repelling water, dirt, pollen, etc. Product was easy to apply per the directions, and easy to buff. My car is pretty new and the paint in great shape. I did notice a step up in glossiness. I dumped a bunch of water on the hood after application a the water did not "bead-up" like typical waxes, but just slid right off. I hope the product stays effective for a few weeks at least. I also have a monthly membership to a local car wash and will see if the product is still effective after a wash or two. I did get some on the glass surfaces and it appeared that it is MUCH MUCH easier to buff the "smears" out than regular Rain-X (which can be difficult even with clean, dry microfiber cloths). Product seems to be a nice quick application in-between major detailing events. And I imagine it will perform well over time like other tried and true Rain-X products.
Apply to cool surface, wipe on, wipe off, easier than cleaning the widows. To be clear, this is for bringing out the shine that is already there, this is NOT a magic fix for an old and unpolished finish. This did not leave behind an undesirable (to me anyway) greasy/wet look that I have seen with other exterior detail finishes. Clean, dry, yet a slick look and feel. If there is any hint of the product left behind on the vehicle's surface when you're done, a simple single wipe with a MINIMALLY damp microfiber towel will take care of that.
Good for cleaning vehicles with loose dirt or dust. Recommended to be applied after vehicle is washed. Won't loosen dried bird dropping or asphalt or clean soiled vehicle. I would compare cleaning power to that of a basic drive through car wash. The bottle sprays a steam or fine mist. Doesn't foam therefore it starts to run and drip. The odor/scent reminds me of acetone or nail polish remover. After applying it and drove in the rain, I didn't see any water bead off like it would if you were to apply wax. Does clean all material (metal, window, plastic, etc.). Coats the surface to bring out a shine.
