Rainbow Brite Indigo Plush Doll

This was the last of the larger Loyal Subjects Rainbow Brite Color Kids, Indigo has always been a rare character in the lines, so I was excited to see them do her in large doll form. I wish her box was a little more character unique , because this is the same packaging for all the characters , and only way to tell them apart is a star on the corner top of the box with dull font nothing exciting to match a exciting character. I will say since the line is ending after Indigo she is marked limited edition so if you want her get her because once quantity runs out she will become rare in the line. Indigo is the only African American character in Rainbow Brite, she represents Indigo blue , she is the only character to share a shade with another character as there is usaully one character per color, but she shares blue with boy blue. She has a lighter African American skin tone, and braids so her hair is ethnically right according to her race. She is wearing blue or indigo overalls, with her star belt, in a harness design on top and a full baggy pant on bottom. I really like how the character was done, she is made well, the hair is very nice, and her body is on par with other cloth body dolls like her. I would recommend her as a gift, or to any Rainbow Brite fan, but get her quick.

I'm an 80s baby. bought this for my daughter of the same name.

Item came in too small of box with no packing materials. Doll was partially loose in its own box. Doll box was damaged. Ultimately returned it.
