[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I added this gravel around a cactus and succulents I have in my front yard. It is a nice pink color, with undertones of red and purple (not orange). The gravel is uniform in size, amd there is not much dust or crushed material in the bag. Color is also very uniform, with a little bit of white sprinkled into the mix. Very happy with this choice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The color of this gravel makes my succulents look amazing! The variations of the reds make a very appealing ground cover. I love it because to me my succulent beds look like Mars. It also prevents the local squirrels from digging in my smaller pots. Combined with a weed barrier this works really well to keep my plants happy. It has great drainage and looks rich! I got excited when I found out this is also aquarium safe, this is a great value when compared to typical aquarium bedding. Since it is smaller size overall I can easily place it in pots/ flowerbeds/aquarium/ as fill for my sidewalks and other small use areas.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used the Red Washed Gravel in my raised garden bed paths to help keep out grass and weeds. Plus it helps with drainage and gives the area an eye pleasing look. The gravel is for the most part I would say pieces are not bigger than a quarter. The color of these is not a bright red but more clay red. They are hard and do not crumble under pressure.

Plus I'm a little on the small side 98lbs and they are so easy for me to handle them. They are gorgeous red gravel. They give your flowers a whole new look. I use them for all different kinds of projects around my house. They are small and one bag goes pretty far. Love them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Margo Garden's Red Washed Gravel has made a small bank of our lawn not only look great but it also has kept the water from washing so much mud onto our sidewalk. The uses of this gravel are endless as it can be used like we did to help control water erosion, can be used around trees and in flower beds for the prettiest decoration. The red washed gravel can also be used in fish aquariums to stimulate a healthy and natural environment for your scaled babies. It's also great for ponds because it reduces the unhealthy amounts of debris within the water. I can't rave enough about this product as we've tried just about everything to help control water erosion on our bank which is close to our patio and sidewalk. After 4" of rain here in Kentucky not one piece of gravel washed away! That has been amazing as we now don't have to shovel the mud that used to be left behind after a moderate amount of rain let alone a rain of the magnitude we've recently had and are still experiencing. I say this is definitely a big win for not only me but my lawn and bank as well! The rustic color goes good with any lawn and they truly hold their original pigment and don't fade like alot of gravel we've used over the years. With landscaping as one of our many list of jobs I've recommended Margo's Gardens many varieties of products they offer and have used them on several jobs thus far. We just love Margo's Garden Products!

I bought five bags - identical packaging - but one of the five turned out to be a very different color than the other 4. The color difference wasn't apparent until we opened the bag.
