RainPoint 3-Zone Digital Sprinkler Timer Programmable Garden Automatic Hose Timer with LCD Screen IP65 Waterproof

Not only did this rain point timer arrive early, it was also exactly as described. The installation of this item could not have been easier and the directions are very accurate. The item is built very well and we expect to be able to use it for many years.

I use this in the backyard to water newly planted grass. I set a timer for every eight hours and in a few weeks my lawn looked beautiful. It was such a relief not having to worry about when to water the grass or forgetting all altogether and having the all my work ruined. Definitely worth the purchase.

The large LCD display displays all the pertinent information on a single page. Multiple multiple watering stations are displayed on individual pages. I initally programed the four watering stations in the comfort of my living room. Unfortunately the timer requires "activation" while connected to a water faucet - and the activation process erases the programming. I had to reprogram it while squatting by the faucet in bright sunlight. My one wishlist item would be a shield to protect the LCD display from sunlight.

Avid gardener and have used other rainpoint garden timers before . Once you know how to set up one, setting up the others is easy. I'm currently using all 4 zones for a drip system. If you do use it though make sure to connect a pressure regulator to to it . I also connected a water hammer preventer between this and the faucet .

the hose timer worked just as described and will help with conservation of water with the drip irrigation system. very excited to use it regularly this summer!

It's working well for my needs. I chose dual zone for one location that needs the water delivery split. I like the sequential timing feature for managing water pressure. The timer is working well.

I like this timer. It was fairly easy to set up and it seems sturdy. Not a five star review because setting it to manual is just unnecessarily complicated. Having to set a time on how long I want to use the hose outside of the set timer is exasperating. All in all it seems like a solid buy at this price point.

Initia start up instructions are complicated. I have owned other to my timers simulator to this one and have not had the complicated start up process as this one.

stopped working in less than a year but them July of last year did not use them over the winter but when I went to use them just a few days ago in the spring they will not work I've tried taking the batteries out reinserting them after it resets they still will not work. when they did work they were easy to use and worked great but they are not durable you'll be buying them every year
