Exactly what I was looking for
I bought this to help me control my irrigation from a distance. So far, I “think” it's been successfully reading the rain I've been getting. It's definitely registering rain enough for me to change irrigation settings but I have yet to measure for accuracy. FYI, my new B-hyve irrigation controller is doing a great job of processing local weather info and is adjusting the irrigation schedule on its own.

Pairing issues.
Gauge originally paired with hub but then went offline and was never able to repair. Getting support was IMPOSSIBLE so decided to return.
