Wouldn't go a day without it

Carrie May 2, 2012

I found out my horse had some joint issues in the past (bone spurs & arthritis) and was not sure what to do. He never had a lame moment when I rode him all year (ie: jumping, etc...) except when I would lunge him. I gave him a few months off and was recommended TJC. He has been on it for 4 months now and I see such an impeccable & drastic change. He is so much happier in general and moves more forward in our two rides a week than he has the entire year I rode him when he was fit. For the results that I get, $70/month is well worth ever penny and I plan on putting all future horses on it. My horse is 13 years old but acts like he is 7 again and I love knowing he feels better all the time now.

Excellent investment

KateP February 28, 2012

My 26 year old Thoroughbred has arthritis in his hind hip. I was told my veterinarian not to ride him anymore. I had tried other joint supplements, heat therapy, adequain shots and nothing helped - until this product. My horse is SOUND and happy and loves his job. This product gave me my horse back. That is priceless.

Worth every penny!

I use this supplement for my Low A/O jumper and it is amazing! I've tried SmartPak's Ultimate joint supplement, as well as Cosequin ASU+HA and the results aren't really worth the price. I switched to this and she moves with more fluidity and much more impulsion. She no longer needs hock injections to stay happy and comfortable! Highly recommend!!!

best joint supplement ever

Toni May 22, 2017

this product has reduced having to get my horses joints injected. I was having to get him injected 1 to 2 times per year. Now it is once every 2 years! nothing better on the market

Wonderful Supplement

fairy26 May 3, 2011

My 16y.o. thoroughbred mare came out of a bad situation. Over jumped and under cared for. I bought her back after selling her 10 years before. She is now my forever horse! She was so sore, in the mornings she could barely walk out of her stall without stumbling. My vet recommended I find a supplement with high levels of glu and chond. He told me to get the highest levels in combination that we could afford. Well....this is the best $2 per day I have ever spent. My girl is not sore or stiff any more. She is moving more comfortably. She is still on time off and spends all day in a big grass pasture, but I know this supplement and the time off is giving her a new lease on life. The difference is phenomenal and this kind of result is worth every penny!

Tried many joint supplements, This is the best!!

PasoBrio January 30, 2009

I have a 21 year old Paso Fino gelding. When I first got him his joints would click when he walked, he took a long time to warm up, was very stiff at first, seemed to tire easily and I never saw him buck, run or play in turnout. Now his joints don't pop, he is ready to go when I'm mounted, I have to hold him back a little to get him to warm up, at the end of a ride he's ready for more! He runs, plays, bucks, kicks and rears in turnout like a 2 year old. I want to keep this old man for a long time, I'll never switch, some months lately it's been hard to afford it but I know he's worth it!

Great Product!

TRACE March 12, 2012

My horse was diagnosed with osteo-arthritis a few years ago. I have tried many different joint supplements and have to honestly say that Total Joint is the best. My horse walks much sounder when she gets her daily dose of this and if she is a little sorer I up the dose that day. Works great!

Easy to use Joint Care

SS12866 August 27, 2013

Total Joint Care Performance is so easy to use. It contains various types of joint care meds all in one powder. No liquid messes! I have an older horse and it provides everything she needs to keep her feeling and moving well. I recommend this product.

great product but ...........

Lady Dr February 19, 2021

I wanted to love this product but..... sadly I couldn't get my mare to eat it , do to it being a powder. It just fell to the bottom of her feeding pan or she would just eat the grain off of the top and ignore it . Even when I mixed it with a small amount of Omega oils , she just wouldn't touch it . This is very sad because I truly think this product would have helped her . I am hoping Ramard will make this a pellet someday . I do think this product is of a higher quality and is a excellent choice if your horse will eat a powder supplement .

Didn't seem to make a difference?

SoCalDQ February 26, 2012

I thought it wouldn't hurt to give my young mare some joint support. The ingredient list looked great, and the product had excellent reviews. Unfortunately, my picky mare wasn't crazy about the taste, and like all joint supplements, the product is fairly pricey (though admittedly not as $$ as some others). I went through the whole container as directed, but I didn't notice any difference in her condition or performance at all while on this product. It was suggested to me that if her joints have good function (she does have clean x-rays and she is only 6), a joint supplement would not have caused any appreciable difference in her performance, which I think that is a reasonable assumption. Since the jury is of course still out on whether joint supplements have any ability to prevent future joint damage, I have decided to save my money for now and take my mare off this supplement, but for horses that do need a joint supplement, I would probably choose this product again based on the ingredient list, cost per serving, and good reputation of Ramard (the manufacturer).
