Rambo Stable Blanket 200g

One of my favorite things about this stable blanket is the lining, it is so soft and cozy I would use it as a blanket for myself! The lining feels similar to a microfiber material, but doesn't get staticky. The thermobonded fiberfill really retains heat and keeps Duncan warm even on the coldest of days. It is great for in the barn use on a cold day, or as a layer underneath a turnout. Especially for a stable blanket, the outer material is also quite durable. The cut on the neck fits Duncan's bulkier shoulders great and we haven't any issues with rubs. As an added bonus, he looks extra adorable in it. I did find that this stable blanket runs a little bit on the larger side. Duncan typically wears a size 81, but the 78 in this blanket fits him perfectly. So, I would consider sizing down, especially if your horse is in-between sizes. To care for this blanket, I just throw it in the wash on cold and hang to dry or in-between washes I will use a stiff brush to remove and excess dust, but I haven't found shavings to really stick to the material.

I have always been a loyal Rambo blanket customer, but until now, I had only ever bought turnout blankets. I had never bothered with stable rugs, but now I am hooked! I thought their turnout blankets were great, but I am absolutely in love with this stable rug. I wanted just a medium weight rug to keep my guy cozy in the barn on colder nights, and this product has certainly earned its keep. I find the fabric to be such a great combination of warm and insulated yet also breathable. Plus the fit is perfect for my guy with a larger hind end and larger shoulders; it wraps around him in just the right way that it is not rubbing or getting in his way. This was my first season with the rug, but I made it through the whole season with absolutely no rips or scuffs. It is super durable!
