Very inspirational songs. The title track delves into knowing people on earth all they had to help others. Another song is about those who say they haven't seen an angel and relates it to mom's and what they do for their children. Excellent song list.

I really enjoy his voice and the song arrangements.

I love this CD! My systemic arthritis pain was so bad and the endless pain made life seem impossible and praying to ask G-d how could I make it through this time, especially knowing this was never going to be the Iast or even the worse time of my life. I put on this CD and although I'm Jewish, it really helped me to get through what seemed impossible. It is so Randy Travis. I know we won't hear that voice again in song, but a recent interview I saw after he lost everything with the stroke, and then listened to the CD, the CD is honest and most of the songs I knew from before I chose to be a Jewish. I had to laugh when I saw the title of one of the songs "Pray for the Fish." My first thought was "They need praying for after the River Service that follows the service on the first day of Rosh Hashannah." I wanted this CD for the first song, but the whole CD is worth everything. The songs gave me the strength and reminded me I don't walk alone and I could get through that time and the next one and the one after that, etc, I would recommend it for the pure pleasure of listening to Randy Travis and more so if one is having a hard time and/or feels alone and don't think they can take one more minute it, because the man Randy Travis has had his life he knew taken away by a stroke and yet without knowing what his future is, can laugh, even when he talks about the uncertaintyof it all and be the same country boy he has always been and shows the faith thaat is on this CD. As I play the CD, it's like Randy is in the room and I can picture the country boy with the ready smile and the hi that usually comes from country people. Knowing what he has been through and his singing voice has been silenced he still smiles and is grateful for his life. The songs that were chosen are about life--not an easy one where everything is ok, but life even when it's not ok and tough and hard to understand when things have been taken away and your whole life is different. The songs show hope, caring, survival, questioning, not understanding and most important, FAITH. Life is never perfect. People get knocked down and within the songs of this CD done before Randy Travis got knocked down big time, yet each song is about a faith that will help one get up, brush themselves off and start again. Between the knocking down and the getting up, there is darkness, fear, not having any idea what to do next, there is a lot of depending on the faith that shows through every song and hearing through Randy's voice and his unique style of singing, there is no acting. It's honest and one will find themselves singing along.

This Randy Travis CD is the best music I have listened to in awhile #3 Angels is why I bought the CD in the first place enjoy!
