Range Kleen Copper Hooded Dustpan

I'm trying to get rid of all things plastic in my life. This dust pan takes me back to my youth and it works really well. The plastic dust pans I've had are not of this quality and the infiltration of plastic into everything in our lives is pretty scary--especially since these items ultimately end up in the landfill.

I have looked in local stores for a metal dustpan for several years. All I could find were plastic ones. Never cared for them. Happy with my metal dustpan!

We have a broom that has out lasted our dustpan! When I started looking for something similar that would fit our broom, I couldn't find anything. I thought I was going to have to purchase a new broom as well. So glad I found this dust pan. Perfect for all the dirty jobs we have!

A little lighter than my last one!

Needed a better shipping package. I was disappointed because it came in dented, but I needed it so I didn't return it. The hood was dented in, I was able to push it out and now only shows a crumpled small dent on the top right side. Also, the back right side took a hit too, and was dented to the size of a dime. The back dent can't be popped out. The white strip doesn't lay flat on the floor. Maybe the strip needs to be a softer rubber. The strip it has is too stiff and lifts up on the right side. It takes multiple sweeps to get small debris inside the dustpan (like cat litter) which is what I bought it for in the first place. But all in all, it's the old-fashioned style I love and I am keeping it. My husband accidentally threw out my 1970's pan a few weeks before I purchased this one. Oh well.. such is life. lol.

And it's going to come dented and bent and you're going to throw it away like I did because Walmart returns sucks.
