This is the best alfredo sauce you can buy!
Typically, I create sauces from scratch- until, to my GREAT surprise, my Sicilian friend used RAO's Sauce(s) while cooking for a dinner party. And that was my introduction to RAO's Cooking Sauces... Great Taste, Rich in Flavor- The Only Jar'd Sauce I use.
Pretty good for a jarred sauce! I usually make Alfredo from scratch but this is by far the best choice if you are buying jarred sauce. It is a little pricey but the flip side of that is that it has better ingredients and is a very good texture with a lovely taste.
I'll just come out and say it. I hate jarred Alfredo sauces. There's something about making them shelfstable that destroys the fresh cream and cheese taste. I've tried so many and they all taste 'off' to me. I honestly don't even know how I obtained this because as much as I worship Rao's products, I've still been shying away from anything cream in a jar. The other night I had baked some breaded ravioli appetizers and needed some sauce. I opened this up and cooked about a quarter of the jar in 30 second intervals till it became hot. When I tasted it, I was in complete disbelief! So so so delicious! Like heating it up, transforms it into exactly how this would taste if it was freshly made. I have not tried the regular Alfredo, just the four cheese specifically. I guarantee if you cook with this, it will not be a bust!
This is my secret ingredient when we make Spaghetti sauce~ Add a couple jars of this amazing 4 cheese Alfredo to our Rao's Garlic Red sauce and Boom! It becomes that Orange sauce you find and many Italian restaurants! Greatest flavor! Dont forget to add Italian seasonings 👏👏
Move over, bland and gloppy Alfredo sauces—Rao's has entered the chat and set a whole new standard. This Four Cheese Alfredo isn't just a sauce; it's a decadent, restaurant-quality experience in a jar. First, the texture is absolute perfection. It's luxuriously thick and rich, coating every strand of pasta evenly without being heavy or greasy. It clings beautifully, delivering that dreamy, velvety mouthfeel you hope for in a great Alfredo. But the magic is in the ingredients. This sauce tastes clean and real because it's made with real ingredients. You can actually taste the distinct, savory notes of the four cheeses—Parmesan, Romano, Asiago, and Fontina—melding together in perfect harmony. It's cheesy and deeply flavorful without that artificial, powdered-cheese aftertake that plagues so many other brands. The ingredient list reads like a recipe you'd make at home: milk, cheese, butter, cream. No mysterious thickeners or overwhelming garlic powder. It's the ultimate pantry hero for a spectacularly easy gourmet meal. In the time it takes to boil pasta, you can have a sauce that tastes like you simmered and whisked for an hour. Perfect for fettuccine, a rich pizza base, or as a dipping sauce for breadsticks. Final Verdict: Worth every penny. If you've been disappointed by thin, bland, or artificially-flavored Alfredo sauces, your search ends here. Rao's delivers incredible, honest flavor and a flawless, rich texture every single time. This jar is a permanent staple in my kitchen now.
Excellent jarred sauce. very convenient to open and serve with fettuccine. I prefer my own homemade but this is delicious for a purchased Alfredo sauce. I add shrimp and crisp tender fresh asparagus for complete meal. This brand is tops. Much better than any other. Worth the price.
One of the more tastyJar alfredos. not so many ingredients that you can't understand. yes it's processed but it's great a quick fix. easy tasty relatively not bad ingredients. Great for keto if you're into that. it's low carbs. I spice mine up cuz I love spicy.
Unlike Rao's red sauces, which I'm happy to spend extra on, Rao's alfredo sauce just isn't that different from brands half the price. I honestly don't think I could pick Rao's out in a blind taste test from Bertollini or Classico. Rao's spaghetti sauces are definitely worth the extra money for us and frankly, it would be hard for me to go back to another brand. But as far as alfredo sauces go, we will be going back to less expensive brands in the future.
I received the this product by my mail. The product was broken and ran all over the box and other items. Whoever packaged this needs a lesson in how to pack glass items. So I'm looking at my pick up order and anything that needs to be packaged and shipped. I'm taking off my list. Sorry I really really wanted to try that.
