This unit is quite accurate. It's easy to turn on and handle with one hand. It's quick to record and easy to read, but you have to look at it straight on. I would prefer to have a lip grab rather than the gill hook. I think that would have less potential to injure the fish for release. But I only use it on fish large enough (bass 3LB +) and only for a couple of seconds, so that it should not have a negative impact on the fish.

So far- So Good
Pleased to find that this unit uses a typical 9 volt battery like a transistor radio, or smoke detector! (not included) It's easy to figure out, however the directions are not too good. I weighed a 3 oz. trolling sinker, & it read 3 oz. I expect it will weigh heavier weights accurately. Looks to be a good buy.

Great Budget Digital Scale
I'm extremely happy with this Rapala digital scale. It's great quality at a value price. This should be in every fisherman's tackle box.
