Rapala FLF6 Fillet Knife with Leather Sheath and Sharpener

Great knife for the price. I used it to clean a lot of walleye on a recent hunting/fishing trip to Canada. I oiled the handle a couple times before the trip just to give it a better feel. Out of the package it has a raw and coarse feel. The oil made it feel a lot better. The blade had a good edge to start with and the included sharpener worked great to touch up the blade after cleaning fish. The sheath is nice and tight. You don't have to worry about the knife coming out on accident. I have no doubts that this knife will last me for many years to come… as long as I don't misplace it. I'd recommend this knife many times over. Buy yourself one, you won't regret it.

Many years ago my late husband had this same knife which he mainly used for filleting fish or on occasion deboning some venison. When I recently needed a good filet knife for removing the tough silver streaks in a tenderloin I knew just what I wanted. Sure enough, Walmart had the exact same knife I'd bought about 50 years ago. It did a fantastic job and it is a quality product for a great price.

The blade on this knife is really sharp and has the right thickness. I purchased filleting knives before that had blades to thick to fillet. This one is perfect!

Very unhappy, didn't receive girl shoes, ended up giving me a refund after seven weeks of waiting for shoes, the store had me call Walmart several times, then ordered a fishing bag , ended up with two was charged shipping %26 Walmart taxes pole was 19.99 ended up paying 34.00 extremely hard to return stores unable to give me full amount back.. The filet knife came in great on time without extra charge.. I don't believe I'll be ordering anything again from Walmart, pretty sad 😢

The blade came out of the handle %26 I cut my thumb. We have always bought Rapala knives for years. After over 15 yrs we replaced one that finally bit the dust (blade came out of handle). We haven't had the new but about a month %26 the blade came out of the handle. Very disappointed.

I'd like to know, why when I checked the knife out, it was 15.00, I pressed save for another time. I now, get charged $18.00????
