Good for telling what you need in soil.

Time consuming to use & accuracy is highly suspect
After testing samples from several locations, pointer movement was non-existent from 2 different locations. Third sample was taken from an area that should test rather acidic because of decades of oak tree growth & debris, but ph reading was near neutral (slightly above 6). Accuracy is highly suspect.

Not what I thought it was
The description made it sound as though you just stuck it in the ground and got a reading. But you have to remove tw inches of topsoil, dig down 6 inches, crumple the dirt the wet it and then insert the meter. Not worth it to me as I'm disabled and can't get down and dig a hole.

The soil tester is a piece of junk and doesn't not live up to what is stated it would do.
