First off, I bought these diapers with my own money. They were not given to me. We used pampers for our first without issues and just always preferred them for reliability and fit, but they keep raising prices and quality has reduced. They also give my second a rash. I’ve tried SO many diapers and kept seeing these. Finally I gave in and tried them. These are great diapers. The fit definitely takes some getting used to. They are very soft, inside and outside. Very absorbent. They hold great even for nighttime use. We’ve had no leaks or blowouts….We were having blowouts up the back in every diaper. I like the coverage and how they fit wider/bigger. They keep his skin dry. No weird or strong smells before or after being used! Wetness indicator works well, if you’re going by that. I definitely recommend giving them a try. The quality and value is just so good. These are similar to Millie moon in a lot of ways, but not identical. These have a higher back and stretchier waist, which I really like. They fit slightly bigger too. If we can’t find the correct size in rascals then we can use Millie moon without a problem. I just prefer rascals for overall quality, value and fit. For size reference my 6 month old is 22lbs and in size 4. My husband says they look saggy, but they’re just thick and a little bulkier than a traditional diaper. I only notice a slight difference look and feel wise sometimes. Pictured is a rascals, pampers amore and pampers swaddler. All size 4. My 3.5 year old, who is potty trained and never used rascals, also gave his unbiased opinion stating he thinks these are softer than pampers.
When our (fraternal) twin girls were newborns, we were using random brands friends and family gave us, and diapers found on clearance or at garage sales. Once they were a bit bigger (size 3?) we tried rascals. They’re 9 months old now and both a size 5. The Velcro strip/tabs are different than other diapers, and that takes some adjustment. Things we love: - they last twice as long as big name brands (we no longer buy overnight diapers, also great for travel) - the price per diaper is comparable to our Costco Kirkland where we live - Twin B RARELY gets a rash when almost all over the economy brands would constantly give her one. We are saving $$ on diaper cream, in addition to it being better for her - our girls are shaped differently (one a little chunky Michelin man baby and the other with a very narrow waist and long legs) but they fit both of them perfectly without leaks (they’re almost always the same size). - Twin B has figured out how to undo the Velcro on her diaper. The top front of these can fold down over the blue stripe, preventing her from undoing the tabs - the packaging allows you to cut it down the middle and make it easy to grab from the top (see pictures) - daycare loves it. One of the workers who was pregnant changed her registry to include these
Rascal’s diapers have outranked our previous name brand diapers. We have wiggly twins that go through a lot of diapers each month. These are a great price point for quality diapers. No leaks or malfunctions tabs ( like the previous name Brand we used). The color indicator is much lighter but still visible.
My miniature schnauzer with special needs diapers and these are perfect. Other budget brands lack the elastic, which causes leaks, since she wears these backwards, the elastic is perfect. No leaks. They are super absorbent when she has a big pee. Love them.
The best diapers in the market, affordable, hold liquid even after hours of not changing it it still feels dry, my baby has never had a diaper rash when wearing them. It fits perfectly overall I highly recommend these diapers and the wipes too both are pretty soft
I started using Rascal Diapers for almost a year for both of my boys, and they’ve been amazing from day one. After trying several different brands, this is the one I keep coming back to. They’re incredibly absorbent — even overnight — and I rarely deal with leaks or blowouts. That alone makes them worth it with two active boys! I also love how soft they are and how well they hold up without feeling thin or cheap. Both of my boys have had sensitive skin with others brands diapers, and these diapers have never caused irritation or rashes. The fit is roomy but secure, which has worked perfectly through all the crawling, running, and climbing stages.
Rascals and friends has always been my favorite since my second born could not use any other diapers. I went from a pamper’s Mom to a rascals and friend’s mom however, I would love to see other styles. Rascals and friends was sold out last week so I had to buy some hello bello diapers and they offered free wipes I said how great is that and they have a cute the Grinch stole Christmas theme going right now two different things on the diapers but the same characters. With Rascals and friends it’s just the same blue diapers no new theme wanting to add free wipes like the competitor but missed hello bello offered full-size wipes, one pack well Rascals and friends offered a trial pack with only five wipes.
I had so many people recommend this brand as the best budget diaper. Unfortunately I don’t like them. They are so soft and cause no irritation which is great but… my daughter would pee in them one time a tiny amount and they would sag. I swear I was changing her more than twice an hour all day because how bulky they would get. The fit is also on the larger side. So I would recommend for bigger/ chunky babies but for her they always leaked near the leg when she would lay down.
I use little rascal diapers on my son all the time because I love them, but today I ordered a pack of size 4s, like the box says, but all of the diapers inside are a size 3. Not really sure how to go about this.
I have been buying these diapers for my daughter for over two years and I have never had any problems. I love their quality, but the last time I bought them, the packaging came in different colors, as if it were green, and the quality was very poor. They came very thin, normally they are a little thicker. I was very disappointed.
