I love this hair spray! I have thin hair and have a hard time finding hair spray that will hold all day in my hair but this works fabulously! It has a strong hold and lasts all day! I love the pump style spray. It is scent free so no strong fumes. It has Climashield to guard against humidity. I haven't had any issues with build up. It leaves my hair feeling flexible not hard or crunchy. I highly recommend trying. Affordable on a family budget! *Please note that you should spray at a distance to avoid a heavy spray.

I still have big hair. It's always curly. Rave makes my set last longer. Great for high humidity also. I now have a hard time finding . Thank God for Walmart.

I don't know why but for some reason this hair spray can be really hard to find near me and when I look to buy it online sometimes the price is really inflated so I'm thankful that Walmart has it in stock for cheap and that I can get it delivered the same day! It's a great hairspray that holds any style in place all day without getting crunchy or sticky and the bottle is massive so it always lasts me forever! I really recommend it!

after reading all the previous reviews on the spray I was beginning to regret me purchasing it there was like 15 bad reviews about how bad it was. I have very fine hair and I will say this I tried it it held my hair fine not sticky I don't see where it was bad at all actually I'm very impressed for the price

Rave is the ONLY ‘drugstore’ brand in my hair care arsenal. My parents had 3 girls- so they would buy me and my sisters all the cheap hair care products. (I’m cringing as I think back on the products we used- Salon Selective’s was ‘the good stuff to us back then it smelled like apples lol). This is the 1 hairspray that I have used throughout the years of crimping, teasing the highest bangs LOL, curling,, straightening irons, brown, blonde, dark auburn, purple, ombré hair.... and Rave held it all! While it can be a little sticky, the hold is buildable without flaking.. ever! Even on 2nd/3rd day hair- no white flakes or remnants. The hold remains, just needs a refresh! I did take 1 star away bc I could swear some of the bottles I buy are a bit watered down. That may not be Rave, could be the retailer trying to stretch the product? Who knows? Bc it varies. However, even the ‘watered down’ lesser hold is enough to keep hair in place, reduce frizz from humidity with a firm hold that is not hard or crunchy (unless you add a ton to get that wet/crunch curl look! Yup! I’ve done it years ago which I don’t even wanna admit!) Overall, YOU CANNOT BEAT THE VALUE OF THIS HAIRSPRAY AT THIS PRICE POINT! No other products that sell at this price even work, never mind do what you need it to (hold, no flakes/ no crunch, eliminates humidity frizz. By far the best you will get for the price!

I was a Suave user for years , but when the cost rose, I tried Rave. I always buy max hold as my hair is very fine with no natural body, but the Rave quality was just as good as Suave. Until recently! I don’t know what changed or why, but the 4X max hold is no longer there . No matter how much spray I use, I have hair falling in my face in less than an hour. Rave needs to check their formula!

I don’t know if they changed the formula but this stuff does not have the hold it used to. This is the second bottle I have bought and I did not use the last one because I thought it was defective. At almost $3 a bottle… not worth it. A few years ago I was paying $1 a bottle. I will find something better on the shelves. I have been using this stuff for 10 years and now I say.. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY . Let me know if Rave goes back to the not so watered down version and I will return as a customer. Picture shows new and old bottles. Changed outside and what’s inside.

Had been dropped and busted. Hair spray had leaked out all over the bottle. Why would they deliver something like that? We have had a lot of problems with deliveries lately and they don’t seem to even care. Nothing has been done about any of it 😡

Something has changed! No hold at all. In one of the bottles there was literally a giant yellow glob. So gross.

I have been using Rav4 for years and would have previously rated this hairspray with the highest score-- it worked well and was an excellent value. That said, the last couple bottles purchased have changed in quality. The product no longer holds hair in place as well as it did before. I'd say it delivers around 1/4 the hold as before. While this product always seemed to have little or no scent, my last two bottles have a perfume type smell. Also, as I use the product, the bottle collapses on itself. The more I spray, the more deformed the bottle gets-- almost like someone was crushing an empty soda can. I just called the 800 number for customer service. A guy answered the phone who seemed totally disinterested in his job. He informed me there had been no change to the formula. He added that as for the bottle collapsing, "I never heard of that problem before". Without any kind of apology or offer to make good on the defective product, he said, 'I'll pass it along' and the call ended. Obviously, I need to find a better hairspray and new company to deal with. No part of that interaction led me to believe the manufacturer cared anything about their customers or their concerns.
