fun game for hours my grandson plays it for hours
My 3 and 5 year old love this game! I got it a year ago and they play with it daily!
Inch Worms is great game for parents to help younger children learn counting basics and color recognition while playing. It is also easy to allow your child to win - which makes playing the game with them that much easier. I would recommend parental supervision if the game is going to be played with only children (or older kids with younger kids) as it is easy to control the outcome if they are allowed to set the game up. I received this game in exchange for my honest opinion, it's a hit at our house!
Absolutely adorable game. My children giggled like crazy the whole time we were playing! Ages 5, 7, and 9 were all occupied and wanted to play again and again. There are two ways to play, so children get to play by color AND play by counting! You pull the little “inchworms” out of the “dirt” segment by segment. This game helps children learn to take turns, learn to play carefully, and of coarse the colors and counting. The worms are made of a thick plasticy ribbon-like materal and I think it will hold up well. Five stars. I want to grab my niece a copy for her birthday.
This game is appropriate for all 3 of my girls (8, 4, and 2). There is something for everyone here! Also, his game is so well constructed! I was concerned that the worms would fall apart after a few rounds (my girls are a bit rambunctious), but they aren't made of paper, they are heavy plastic!! My 8 year old loves to hypothesize whose worm is the longest, and then measure all the worms. It also has 2 ways to play, which is amazing for us because my 4 year old loves to play the same game over and over, but tends to get silly and lose interest. We just switch the spinner and have a second round!! We all stay happy and she continues to be engaged! It is also a quick game, which is awesome for some nights when we only have a few minutes. I highly recommend for anyone with young children! I received this game in exchange for my honest opinion.
Concept is good but I spent way to much time reassembling. Worms yes. But also the little rubber wormholes. Kids liked it but it was too much trouble for Gramps!
This game was a hit with our preschooler. I always appreciate when a game for this age group doesn't require reading. The worms can be pulled by color or number. Our tester liked the color game better than the numbers game, but said he would play both ways again. Overall a good game for this age group. I received this game in exchange for my honest opinion.
This game is tons of fun for my preschoolers. I like that it works on color identification and making comparisons. The game is simple and quick to learn. The kids LOVE the anticipation of the game It does have some cons: it takes some practice to learn how hard you need to pull the worms. When we started the game some worms and dirt went flying. It also takes a little bit of set up to play secondary to threading the worms through the dirt. Overall a good preschooler game if your kiddo can wait for the set up and pull worms slowly. I received this game in return for my honest opinion.
Has some issues. It is a really cute idea. My 5 yr old grandson likes it. The spinner is awful as far as getting it to actually spin. Such a simple thing to make correctly. The idea is cute. My grandson didn't seem to notice that the spinner was not great. We are having fun playing it.
I received this game in exchange for my honest opinion. My daughter's (age 4 and 5) enjoyed playing Inch Worms. There were a few problems with the actual game pieces. The spinner doesn't work great, the grass mound needs to be held down when pulling up a worm and the worms aren't easy to snap together. So there is definitely room for improvement...But the actual game play is awesome. Great learning game too. If they worked out those mechanical kinks itd be 5 stars.
