RAW Nutrition Whey Protein Powder, Glazed Donut, 20 Servings

This is some of the best tasting whey protein powder I've tried so far. I mixed it with milk, and it really does taste like glazed donuts. I like the amount of protein and other nutrition in the powder as well. The only thing I don't like is the amount of cholesterol, but it's hard to find whey protein power that doesn't have at least some cholesterol. I'm healthy enough that it shouldn't be an issue anyway. I would definitely recommend the product.

I normally blend with almond milk and it really does taste like a decent glaze donut but I go with water sometimes and it's a little less delicious. I gives me the protein I need for my diet as I am trying to bulk up at the moment. It does have some cholesterol which is not ideal but I typically find most shakes that takes good has some.

When getting this protein power, I was not entirely looking forward to getting it because most proteins I have had have not been good and just a flavor that you can't stand. But when I got this whey protein that had the flavor of glazed doughnut, not only did the flavor sound good but basic white white tub was honestly appealing to me. But when I had tried this protein for the first time, I was genuinely suprised because I was not expecting the flavor to be too good, but it tasted like a doughnut, and it was a flavor that I knew i could not get annoyed of as soon as I had it, because you can tell from the first sip of protein whether you are going to love it or hate it, and with this one I liked it. Like I was saying not only is the flavor good, but the tub and its basic aesthetic was pretty nice . Overall I like this protein, it taste just like it said it was going to, and I would definitely recommend this to people who have a hard time choosing proteins because of the flavor.

I usually use the Opimum Nutrition WHEY protein after my workouts, but I was excited to try the RAW brand. I can say I am impressed overall after using it 3 times. Good taste, it says Glazed donut but honestly just tastes like a vanilla whey protein to me, which is good. (can't say I am wishing for a donut after my workout). The protein content is higher than my old protein, while sugar is lower, which is a huge plus. I would recommend to anyone looking for a new whey powder to try! I add Peanut butter to mine and its great!

This protein power is a huge improvement over the bland and chalky products I was using before. RAW nutrition did a great job on the flavor and the texture. It blends smooth and the glazed donut flavor works incredibly well when mixed with my morning coffee and milk. I will definitely be keeping this stocked in my pantry!!

When received the product I was thoroughly excited to try as I consume powdered proteins daily and I'm always looking for a better or tastier product. Finally I have found one!!! The glazed donut flavoring in this protein was an excellent flavor combination, not only as a flavor itself but as a masking flavor for the protein powder. And the powder itself seem to dissolve easier than most I have tried recently making it considerably easier to consume. Can be mixed with milk or water though I prefer milk myself for a creamier finish and a bit more protein and nutrition. Overall I rate this product at 10 and plan to revisit as an addition to my daily regimen and routine.

I was really interested in this taste and can say I was not disappointed. The flavor is there for me. Not overly sweet but a solid glazed donut taste. I tried it with water and almond milk. Definitely prefer it with almond Milk. Good macros and mixes well!

This was the first time that I'd tried anything from the brand RAW. The whey protein blend in the glazed donut flavor is pretty good as far as protein powders go. It mixes easily into water using just a shaker bottle. It doesn't taste or feel chalky. It didn't have any unpleasant aftertaste. I like that each serving (1 scoop in 8-10 oz water) contains 25 grams of protein. I also tried adding a scoop to pancake batter for a glazed donut protein pancake and they were delicious, the product incorporated into the batter with no problems. If you are looking for a dessert flavored whey protein powder, I think this is a good one to start with.

Overall, I would say that the taste of this protein was pretty good. Aside from taste, there are two relatively large caveats for me—1) as someone who's lactose intolerant, I usually go for isolate and this one has whey protein concentrate and this gave me some tummy issues, and 2) this protein powder used Sucralose and acesulfame potassium as the sweeteners and I'm just not a fan of using artificial sweeteners. Now, when I do a quick search of the product I do see that on Walmart's website there is a different ingredients list that uses stevia. Perhaps Raw has since upgraded their product, but the one I received still uses the artificial sweeteners. If this changes I'd be happy to review the new product and update my review, but for now I'd pass on this one based on my dietary preferences.
