The infusion of charcoal seemed like an unconventional, but it works wonders in detoxifying my scalp, effectively drawing out impurities without stripping it dry. Macha brings its antioxidant prowess, leaving my hair feeling revitalized and looking luscious

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the smell of this shampoo it smells like matcha. The shampoo is effective and makes my hair feel much cleaner with the build up of products. The cold press is also refreshing. I would be nervous to use this long term on my color treated hair, but with the first few uses it did not strip my color at all. I’m not sure if I will use it weekly, but when I feel like my hair has a buildup of products it will definitely be in the rotation. I do highly recommend as a clarifying shampoo.

I was excited to try Raw Sugar's The Deep Cleanse Clarifying Shampoo as it is a cleaner product without parabens and sulfates, and I am interested in switching to cleaner skin and bath products. I generally only use a small amount of hair products on my hair and have never used a deep cleansing shampoo before. I tried the Charcoal + Matcha + Aloe version, and smelling the product out of the bottle proved positive. It wasn't a strong scent, but rather a clean refreshing scent that I really liked. With regards to lather, it wasn't as much as the shampoo I currently use, but it was more than sufficient for my hair with one dollap. The scent continued while I used the product but then quickly dissipated afterward. Only a hint of fragrance remained after I towel dried my hair. In terms of deep cleansing my hair, I thought the product worked really well. My hair felt very clean, and I noticed it was softer than it usually felt. I also felt like it detangled my hair during use, removing any residues, revealing silkier smoother hair. I do feel The Deep Cleanse Clarifying Shampoo removed impurities, and my hair did look shinier as described. Overall, I liked the end results of this product and will continue to use it as needed. I would recommend this product to my friends- especially those who use a lot of hair products in their hair!

I love the effects of the matcha/ aloe/ charcoal combination on my hair. It left my hair feeling clean and free of buildup. It was not pricey like others can be.

It's meant to be color safe and I can see that since it's more gentle.
