My 14 year old just started baseball. He's never even played yard ball, so he's truly a beginner. He's about 6-foot tall, average-to-slender build and has average-size hands. I probably could have sized down, but he said it works just fine. I asked my son what he likes most about the glove, and he said he likes that it's easy to break in. He can easily catch and grip the ball.
This was the easiest to break in out of the 4 gloves we purchased. The most expensive was $129 (from another store) and it is crap! This glove is seriously great! Conditioned it well, threw a ball in the pocket and wrapped it up for 24 hours. Perfect! I will do it again to be sure but just one time would be fine.
Got this for my son. I played ball through AA pro level with this exact style and look glove and was the best. I'm sure my son will enjoy for many years to come. A
Great product for the price. If you're looking for a more professional glove at cheap cost go with the sandlot. For catch the player preferred does the job.
Purchased this for adult slow pitch softball. I first saw this glove at another sports store but they did not have the left hand version. The leather is soft and easy to break in. I purchased glove conditioner and have been breaking it in this past week. It is almost game-ready. I would highly recommend this glove. I found it difficult to find a comfortable soft leather 14 inch glove, so I jumped on this when I found it online. My 22 yo son likes it so much that he just purchased the RH version. Since it's the end of season, this glove has been marked down to a $50-60 price range which I believe is a true value deal.
I'm a Walmart employee and we did not have this specific glove in stock so I ordered it. It arrived early and it's great quality.
Solid glove. My daughter uses it in her softball game/practice. Easy to break in and seems good quality. She likes it.
I purchased this glove as a backup glove for softball. It is really great fot the money. Can't wait to break it in.
This glove is great for my 16 year old son, and great value!
Seems a little large for my 14 year old grandson.
