A lifetime of great memories!
This was a Christmas gift for our grandson. Rawlings has been a brand name in my family since I myself was a young boy. Besides all three of our boys having Rawlings gloves for playing baseball years ago, my older brothers were into softball into there late 30's and the whole team had Rawlings gloves. Our grandson went into baseball 4 years ago and last year had grown so much that he had to have his dad's glove in order to play. So, now they can both play catch again!

Great glove for the value
Great glove for the value. A bit hard to break-in at thumb but overall easy and ready to play catch in right away. One knock is the top of the glove is a mesh and not all leather but still nice quality.

The glove has a mesh on the back instead of fully leather. They cheaped out on the quality. But I guess you get what you pay for. break in wasn't hard but again the quality is less than desirable

Looks great, but too stiff/hard to break in
This glove looks really nice and has a great design, but it was a lot stiffer than I expected. Parts of it do not feel like leather and seem more plastic-like, which makes it feel like it will take a long time to break in. I also noticed that when trying to pick up a ball near the end of the glove, it would slip right out instead of closing around it. The top opening feels a little too big, so it just did not work as well as I hoped. It is not a terrible glove, but I do not have the time or patience to put in all the effort it would take to make it usable for me.

Small fit overall
This glove is very small for a 12 inch glove. The velcro closure is nice, but overall the fit is too small if you're expecting a 12 incher. Also, it would require a lot of breaking in. It is very stiff and the palm is quite wide making it difficult to squeeze it shut.
