my husband coaches our 2nd and 4th grader in baseball. This flat mit helps teach kids to use both hands when swooping up the ground balls, this is always a tough skill to get kids to make a habit out of and this mit really reinforces the importance of using the second hand. Great coaching tool. Also stores easily since its flat and lightweight. We use it often down our hallway with a soft ball.

This is a very helpful training tool for young athletes looking to improve their grounding skills. It's a very simple design, but effective. Nice hand grips in the back with a raised disk in the middle for palm comfort. I'm not super athletic but this allows me to work with my son in the backyard!! Works for left or right handed ballers!
