Ray O Vac batteries always seem fresher than the big name Duracell and Energizer batteries. The RayOVac batteries last longer in my hearing aides and I don't have to worry about them going out on me an very inopportune times when I really need to hear what is going on. Highly recommend them.
I had a new box of 312 10 packs. My father in law was visiting and needed some batteries. I handed him one of these new packs and he was totally unable to get it open, Now it was my turn to try. It was awful. I have good use of both hands and was using kitchen shears. I had not imagined something so poorly designed. What if I had arthritis and poor vision? All I have to say here is that the product development people and admistrators who supervised this unholy packaging have totally failed their customer base. I for one will not purchase any more of their products.
The batteries are great, last longer than other batteries I've tried. But the child-proof packaging is terrible. I'm a senior and have trouble opening the package. You need a lot of muscle in your hands to cut it open, and I don't want to carry scissors with me if I need to open the package away from home. Try again with a better package.
I have compared Rayovac 312 to about 4 other brands. Rayovac is my top choice because they are easy to replace, and the price is ok. Other brands seem to cost more or are almost impossible to get out of the package to replace the tiny batterys.
we've had an awful time getting hearing aid batteries that last more than 8 hours; hopefully they'll keep on going!
Received these batteries several weeks ago as a first time user. They last about a day longer than other 312 batteries. It is interesting that every night I pull the battery case open as to not use the unit while I sleep and some days I don't wear the hearing aids while I play golf and it seems to make no difference with any battery as the life of the battery still diminishes whether I use it or not. This is not a scientific test but only an observation. I still will use them.
I've been using Rayovac ever since I got hearing aids six years ago, so I can't compare them to other brands. I was always happy with them until you came up with the "child proof" feature. I have a terrible time getting them out of the packaging. Scissors are a poor solution and sometimes the battery flies out of the packaging when I'm trying to get it out. Do you have a product that isn't "senior-proof?"
This product did not performed as good as advertised. I kept track of the batteries I used for three consecutive months, and the best I could get was 4 days of service and occasionally 5 days. Batteries from other manufacturers also used to give me about 4 days before they went dead.
I received a totally different battery package from the one pictured when I placed the order and had I noticed it was a child resistant package I would have returned the order. What a hassle to have to cut each battery and pry it out of the shrink wrap. Never again !!
Late 80's, rheumatoid arthritis, hearing aids for 30 yrs. You have got to be kidding about this new packaging!! Since they have to be kept separate, I will have my grandson open a few packages at a time, and store in weekly pill containers. That is another thing. How are we supposed to change them on the go with the new package???
