This controller feels good although I wish the right side was a little larger for grip and that the left side gripped tighter to the phone. Triggers work fine and are responsive but pressing them down feels like sandpaper is stuck in the mechanism vs most controllers where the trigger movement glides with no roughness. This gripes are enough for me to drop from 5 to 4 stars. Now for the big part. Since this controller is MFi certified it works in any game that supports controllers. This controller works great for games like doom and GTA (3,VC, SA) and the mapping is correct out of the box. As of 14.3, this also works with Stadia games but latency (input lag) is an issue so far with any internet connection I have tried. This is not a controller fault but most internet providers in the states that run cable or DSL have enough latency to ruin Stadia. Fiber users should be fine with latency that can end up being faster than the refresh rate of a 60Hz monitors which should mean very little input lag. some Stadia games run via iPhone Safari Browser look like 360 or PS3 games texture and visual quality wise. The iPhone can't run display 4K stadia pro video but I would assume if it could this problem would be fixed. Once again not a controller problem but something to note when using Stadia for games. Now for something the Android version of this can only dream of (on stock phones with stock Sony Remote Play app) This works with PS4 and PS5 remote play. On Android only 3rd party clients or modded phones can use the Android version of this controller due to limitations Sony out in place that only allows for a DualShock 4 to be used for remote play. Controller mapping is fine but there is no touchpad button so you will need to touch the phone screen to use game functions that use the touchpad press like the menus in Borderlands. This is not an issue with Xbox One Remote Play where games use a physical button for menus in games like Borderlands.

Is great and easy to use once you get used to it

Already broken and just purchased February 1. Very disappointed to have paid so much for something and have it die in 3 months…with no recourse to obtain replacement or refund because of 15 day policy. Product should last more than 3 months. Do not buy.

I didnt get a chance to test out the earphones, I didnt bother after realizing the controller didnt work. The controller wouldnt fit on the phone with a case. Thats one thing i disliked, but when I remove the case to apply it, the controller just wouldnt turn on. I used the manual in the box which wasnt helpful, then I tried finding other directions online. The controller just wouldnt turn on when connected. I tried using it on my relatives iPhone also, I thought it was my iPhone, but it wouldnt work either. I tried it with games that were compatible with the controller and nothing. Also what sucks about the controller if it would have worked, is that you can only use it on a limited list of games that razed exclusively allows the controller to work with. But again, the controller didnt work.
