It was smaller than expected, but that's a good thing as my desk is quite small. It sounds very nice; my voice is crisp, and overall, it's a great microphone.
my son loves it works great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When it comes to computer accessories, I tend to lean towards Razer products. They have great keyboards, mice, headsets, and now a great microphone! I am constantly on the computer whether it's for work or personal use and this microphone serves me two separate ways. With some adjustments, you can use this microphone for zoom meetings or voip calls in the office but it primarily serves as a streaming or recording microphone. It does really well at blocking out the noise in your environment to only capture your voice. The optimal position for one person recording on the microphone is direct on top of it. The smallest separation possible really captures vocals in a very clear and crisp way. You can record 2 people at once but it would take a bit of tinkering to get the gain and distance right. Since this is a Razer product, it comes with its own software where there are more features available including the high pass filter. You have to download Razer synapse for this but it's worth it if you want to cancel out as much as the computer noise and humming as possible since this feature cancels out those low frequencies to make it inaudible. Overall, this microphone is perfect for all my recording/streaming needs. It's simple to set up, has great outside noise cancelation, looks cool and sleek, and captures vocals with crystal clear clarity.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a musician/audiophile I've had quite a few microphones in the past, all serving their own purpose. This Razer Seiren V2 Pro microphone is the first USB and first “gaming mic” I've owned. Getting your preferences setup properly so the razor software plays nicely with your sound card is a little bit of a hassle but well worth it. This is hands down the best vocal mic I've used. Much better than competitors. The build quality is great and so is the sound quality. This mic is great for gaming, streaming, and recording vocals.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The audio quality is much better than the other gaming mics we have tried. The stand works great we love the overall feel of the mic as well. Really easy to use and set up. Very satisfied with this and my son loves it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such a great mic! I love the crisp clean sound. It helps block put background noise, which can sometimes be an issues at my house. Super easy to set up and use. I love the simple, clean design of the mic as well. I need to add another one to my house since my kids keep stealing if off my desk for their own use. I would definitely recommend!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been working from home for almost 5 years now, but this has completely upgraded my WFH game. Not only does the microphone have a good aesthetic, but it also helps others on the call crystal clear!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Packaging was secured and product was pristine. Directions were read a couple times to review all product information which was worded well for a minimal technology individual. Setup was quick and smooth. Played well with with my laptop (not a MAC). Hearing your own voice so crystal clear is alarming at first, I sound like this? Playback is clear for others. Sound and feature options are smooth to adjust. Extremely professional. Excited to continue using on a regular basis. It blocks out background noise which is a great feature but this is only true if the mic is on a boom because moving items on your work surface when placed on desk can be hear. When adjusting make sure to tighten sides. Sleek in presentation. 5/5 for me!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Seiren V2 Pro is a great microphone if you're looking to up your production quality sound without emptying out the bank. The V2 Pro does an excellent job of voice isolation while ignoring the ambient noises in the background all while looking simple yet stunning. While the V2 Pro comes with its own mic stand, I've opted to attach mine to a boom mic arm which in my opinion improves the setup and sound quality. While the stand is well made, the built-in shock absorber feels a bit thick in my opinion. While the mic sits on my table, it's not entirely flush to the surface. I have a sit stand desk, so when changing elevations, it could cause some unwanted shifting. This is another reason I opted for a boom mic arm, also I just really dislike table top clutter! The windsock fits snuggly around the mic and does a great job of blocking out wind muff and some ambient noises. With the mic's high pass filter, there truly was a tremendous difference in sound quality, especially if you're just going from a standard mic setup. When dialed in completely, the difference in sound quality is awesome. It's a world of difference as the Seiren V2 Pro does a remarkable job, however it takes quite a bit of work in the Synapse software to get it dialed in perfectly for you (your mileage may vary here). At the end of the day, it's a question of your use case and the Razer Seiren V2 Pro is perfect for streamers, gamers, podcasters, and vlogger. If you need a quality mic for group chats and meetings, this may very well be overkill. If you need something higher end, then you may want to venture into a fancy XLR microphone. However, if you want something cool and sleek looking that does excellent performance without the added cost, then the V2 Pro maybe a good choice.
Stopped functioning after 1 month of use. Will be returning.
