this is an absolute powerhouse of a gaming mouse delivering elite competition grade performance so much you can't even tell it's less latency because we already have it so good on that end with mice these days maybe all these companies should focus on other mouse fronts! compared to v3 pros, this shaves off weight and loading up on cutting-edge sensor technology to remain a top choice for mouse bros I guess.

Same as the absolute masterpiece, V3 pro, except the battery life of the device is significantly greater. It could be some sort of placebo as well but the mouse feels smoother in game (Valorant). Overall verdict, I would not get the mouse if you already have a V3, however if you have the money for it, I would 100% recommend this mouse.

180 hour battery life, wireless 8k polling rate and up to 50,000 dpi. Grip tape is decent. I wouldn't upgrade if you have a v3 pro.

The Viper V4 pro is a better Viper V3 Pro. Frankly, that could be the entire review. The sensor is better, the scroll wheel is now optical, which means Razer FINALLY has a scroll wheel that will not have double scroll issues, it weighs less, it has an absurd battery life, and it has absolute top-of-the line sensors and switches. Short of a more experimental mouse which might offer you a novel feature you can't get here, such as the X2 Superstrike, this is the best big-brand mouse you can buy for gaming at the moment, as long as you like the shape. Shape is king, after all. Speaking of shape, it is IDENTICAL to the Viper V3 Pro, to the point where my pre-cut grip tape for the V3 fit on them no issue. The main question for you will likely be: do you REALLY need this mouse? If you have a V3, or an equivalent mouse, and you are happy with it, unless the utterly ridiculous 180hrs of battery life at 1000hz polling rate is something you think is worth the leap for, I don't see any great reason to immediately run out and buy this mouse,. However, if you are buying your FIRST premium gaming mouse, the Viper V4 Pro is a tried and true, iterated design with a competent software suite, familiar and safe shape, and top tier performance, as long as you're willing to pay for it. Are there better values out there in mice? Yes. To me, the people who will buy this mouse probably already know they want it, and if that is you, then don't hesitate - it'll meet your expectations with no issues.

Great mouse but the viper v3 pro se costs half the price and gives you 90% of the same features
