Excellent tool!
If you've been using a sharpshooter, this is a paradigm shift! The angled edge helps rocks move out of the way as you push it into the dirt. The long handle means you don't have to lean down to work with it. It has a huge target for your foot, so you can drive it in with one foot easily. The handle is really thick and high quality, as is the blade.

Perfect size for deep trenching
I thought the blade was a little shorter than what I had seen in other shovels, but it worked out perfectly in the 6-7 inch trench at a depth of 20 inches. I could not get out that much material in the space that I had to work with any other way. Appears to be very strong and well made. This was the perfect size in width and length for the blade.

Back saver . Makes digging easier !
This True Temper trenching shovel is a back saving and makes digging a trench a lot easier than common shovel. All materials seem to be of good quality. Will buy again if ever a need.

excellent trenching shovel.
my husband love it. it digs really well in hard ground. the handle is too long for me( 5'2inch). but my husband (6'3 in.) love it . i used for the garden.
