My son is 11 years old and we got him this for Christmas! Timid to do the full 360 turns at first but once around kids his age he started to get more comfortable with it and push the limits. Now he's speed racing and drifting around turns! It's honestly so cool!
We have the original crazy cart for 6-8 year olds, so this year we bought the larger one since our sin is 10. It lives up to the fun, comfort and more speed than the original. It's a great alternate to a go-cart. The drift and spin is great. Every neighborhood kid wants to ride it. No assembly- ready to go out if tge box.
This is the greatest ride-on toy ever! Let me preface this by saying, we have owned nearly every ride-on toy that Razor makes. We currently have one or more of the following Razor products: the Razor Quad, the Razor Dirt Bike, Razor Lux Scooter, Razor Kick Scooter and the Razor Motorized Scooter. While we have actually enjoyed all of the Razor products we have, the Crazy Cart is probably my son and daughter’s favorite. They are ages 7 and 9, and have fun drifting, spinning and cornering this thing. I can’t lie…both my husband and I have had some fun on it too! The Cart can go pretty fast (the packaging says up to 12mph), so it’s best used on open space. When your child is first learning to ride it, I would make sure to remove any obstacles because he/she may feel a bit out of control until they get the hang of it. The Cart came packaged nearly ready to go. All we had to do was attach a flag and charge the battery. Depending on your child, this toy has the ability to get fairly aggressive, so I highly recommend ALWAYS wearing a helmet and possibly other protective gear when riding the Crazy Cart. While all Razor toys cost a bit more than other brands, we are firm believers that you get what you pay for with this brand and the Crazy Cart is no exception.
Bought this for my 11 yr old and he loves it more than anything! It is a lot of fun and my oldest is dying to ride it even though he is too big. Need adult sized ones for the "big" kids! Only con is wished it would recharge faster and better buy extra wheels
I saw the Razor Crazy Cart online and it looked like a fun outdoor vehicle. Once it came home I was so very pleased with it. Although it is not very flashy or fancy looking, it is sooooo much fun. It is a very sturdy and well built vehicle. The metal is very strong, the wheels are of great quality. The steering wheel is not flimsy and handled ever twist and turn with ease. It was surprisingly faster than I thought it would be. The box that it comes in is quite large and it is surprisingly heavy. From the pictures I saw online I could not tell how large it was. When we opened the box I was relieved to see that there was hardly any assembly required. All I had to do was screw the steering wheel into place. Once this was done I thought i would just charge and go. Not yet! Turns out that you are required to put air into the tire first before the first time you take it out. So make sure you have a good tire air pump before you try to operate. The location for the charger is very convenient and it charges as advertised. Once it was charged taking it outside was a little tough for my 12 year old son. It is, as I mentioned before, quite heavy so it was a little hard moving it around the house to get it outside. Once we got it outside it took some getting used to. Learning how to spin, drive and maneuver took about 30 minutes though, so there is a short learning curve. Once you learn to operate, it is a totally fun experience. I couldn't get my son off of it. He stayed on for over an hour. The Crazy Cart mode is soooo fun. The cart never felt like it would tip over! Really is one of the best carts we have owned. The weight limit says 140lbs, but I went on it and I am a little heavier than that ;-) The cart is so low to the ground I can see why it supported my weight. I would be more cautious with younger kids as a 7 year old may be tempted to try this. I am not too sure I would recommend that because it does go pretty fast. Suggestions: -Only operate it on flat, level surface. -DO NOT OPERATE DOWN A HILL! There are NO BRAKES. Which means, it slows down when your foot is off the accelerator. So if you are coming down a hill, the momentum can and will carry you with no good way to stop. It did not feel safe doing that. -Use a helmet at all times!!! It goes pretty fast, so if you hit a bump you want to be safe! -Adult supervision is strongly suggested! If it starts to go really fast, and adult may be able to stop this safely in motion. Just be careful because the metal on this thing is pretty hard and you dont want to hurt your shin! I wouldn't recommend another child trying to stop it, they might get hurt. Other than that, it was a very fun and safe ride! Although the price is a little high, I think it is worth it. It seems so sturdy I think we will have for years.
I know I am a little out of the age range but this looks like fun! I did not know what to expect but got it for my grandson. The best part was how it arrives (see photo), nothing but the steering wheel and a flag to connect, PERFECT! At first he had to get use to the pedal and how to coordinate with the spin stick and steering with one hand but once he did, WOOSH, there was no stopping him! I did think the price was a little high but after seeing how much fun it is, who can put a price on that. Definitely would recommend.
Thi was a great purchase. I bought it for my son's 13th birthday. Also as a way to get him off the video games and outside to play. It worked because he's outside everyday spinning in circles. Taking his lil sister for rides sharing. I even took it for a ride. I couldn't stop laughing at how fun this little thing was. As a kid i remember being fearless as a 33 year old mother i barley did a full circle . Now if ur looking for something fun and that the whole family will love than this is definitely for u. We all ( 5) of us sit outside and watch these kids just go crazy until the battery dies, or one throws up. And it's so funny.
Got this for our son. It has been a fabulous purchase for him. Easy to assemble, use and he loves riding it!!!
It's a great thing my six-year-old son got one for his sixth birthday. The neighbors kids had them and they all have a lot of fun. Just be careful because there's no brakes. Obviously I make my son wear a helmet, but they are really cool.
When I received my Crazy Cart I was pleasantly surprised to find that I did not have to try to install or remove a huge battery pack. The only thing I had to install was the steering wheel and the flag that goes on the back of the seat. So set-up was VERY easy. Only a matter of minutes. Charging the Crazy Cart is very simple. It comes with an adapter that you just plug in right below the steering wheel. I was too afraid to let my 8 year old daughter try it out first, so I got one of my nieces who is 12. She wore a helmet and drove it out the driveway and down the road. She had an absolute blast with it. I had a safety concern. Because the seat is low to the ground it would be hard for a car passing by to see you. Granted, it does have a flag, but unless you're paying very close attention you won't see it. I would suggest using the Crazy Cart in a big parking lot on the weekends like at a school or at a park. What's good about the park is that because it can turn completely around you can always navigate it on the sidewalks. After seeing my niece have a great time with it I allowed my daughter (8) and my nephew to both try it out at the park. I would have to say on a scale from 1 to 10 of fun toys this one is absolutely a 10. A full charge of the battery lasted about 38 minutes. I gave the 4 star rating because of the safety concern I have and I thought it was a big pricey. If you live somewhere that allows you easy access to drive this around it would be perfect for your child. The recommended age is 9, but my 8 year old loved it and she would have been fine driving it at an even younger age. PRO: VERY fun, can hold up to 140 pounds, being able to turn 360 degrees, Easy installation and charging CON: Somewhat Unsafe on streets, a bit pricey I've attached pictures of just how you will receive the Crazy Cart. You can see that the only parts not attached when you receive it are the steering wheel and the flag. ALWAYS WEAR A HELMET ON THIS TOY.
