While the range of the 36V lead acid battery is limited. I can commute 5 miles daily and up a formidable hill. The larger wheels make this a butter smooth ride and the motor is whisper quiet. This is heavy with the stock batteries though. So park it outside if you have stairs to climb.
I needed something to get me to and from work and this is exactly what I've had my eye on for months before finally ordering it. I finally was able to take it out for a test ride and it is super fast. I think it's going to take me a little bit more practice on the side walks but on the road the ride is very smooth.
Just took it on a little trip to work and back. I got this for that purpose and it did just as it should with plenty of charge left. Runs quiet and pretty smooth. Bumps can be a little jarring without any suspension. Powerful for it's size. I love the larger platform which gives me more room for my big feet! There are some shallow hills on the way and it pulled me up them without getting too bogged down even though I'm a littlemore than the stated weight limit. Does what I bought it to do and I'm satisfied. Nice!
Amazing for my 10 year old! He loves it and it's easy for him to ride! Goes fast and easy to brake. Just wish it had a light but we can buy one for it!
I bought two of these for my 10 year old and 8 year old daughters. From 65 lbs to me at 315 lbs, they carry us all. Obviously, some go faster than others. They're really stable and well built. I'll update as we get some more use.
It's little bit to tall for my kids 11 %26 14 to ride comfortably and makes me feel like I'm 7 ft tall besides this the of power of take off is slow. We tried to look passed the our differences about this but couldn't so had to return. It's heavy because they are still using ( out dated battery type Nicad ) and wasn't very portable for us. if your wanting to travel with these think about the height and weight and does not fold.
I like this except for one thing..the breaks are way to sensitive! It's not a slow stop but a jerk stop. I am not sure but I hope I can find someone to adjust the breaks. Very scary while riding to come to an abrupt stop.
It was fun it developed a short and they will not replace we could return it and get a refund and buy another one for around $400 that does not seem quite fair.
The scooter rides great! However it doesn't hold a charge for more than 45 minutes and only 7 miles. For 450 you can get a much better one. Also no cruise control, no speed gadge. Headlight or bell. I returned it and went with a midrange gotrax much happier although I miss the size of the board and wheels.
First ride after initial charging period was 1 mile, very very slowly, and the battery died. Extremely disappointing to have to push it home. Its heavy. Then I googled "why is my razor scooter so slow" and found the manufacturing problems. So unless I want to reengineer the battery system, this scooter is slower than walking.
