My 18 year old son tried it out and first the weight holds over 120 lbs, because at 6 foot tall he weighs in at 260 and it held beautiful. The speed it also greater for kids 8 and over because it gets pretty fast. The charge doesnt take long and lasts up to an hour. The bright LED lights are so fun and even better when riding in the dark!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Awesome and extremely fun scooter. Colorful LED lights around the scooter on both sides of the deck and the steering tube. High torque yet the electric scooter won't kick in until the scooter has some speed. The rear-fender break works well just like any other regular scooter. My son is having a lot of fun with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had one when I was younger and destroyed that thing but I liked doing stupid things on it. I rebuilt the motor assembly and every electronic component at least twice. Very good scooter for a little kid who's destructive and likes to build things.

This scooter is good, but for some reason it turns off which is pretty annoying. Anyways the led lights are cool especially in the night and for the motor, its not bad but after like 39 minutes the motor gets hot as a oven! Not a bad scooter speed is good for kids 8-12. One thing that is bad is that u cant extend the handlebar which isn't good because ur back after like 20 minutes, ur dead! But anyways its good for kids that are not that tall and not more older then 12, motor is good!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a solid scooter for young kids. The motor seems well made and provides plenty of juice for a small child. The thumb accelerator allows for smooth acceleration and the brake in the back wheel allows you to decelerate comfortably. My complaint is that it cannot adjust its height. I have 4 kids from 1-11. The older kids, who you think would be able to ride comfortably, look weird because the handles cannot be adjusted vertically. My 8 year old daughter even looks too big for it. And this thing is supposed to be 8+. Does that make sense? The lights are okay I guess. The battery life does seem to be as advertised, approximately 40 minutes. Overall it’s a fine product but be forewarned that, like other razor scooters, you cannot adjust the height of the handlebars which, again, makes you scratch your head. I would say this scooter will be best suited for 5-9 yr olds.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was ridden by my 8 and 11 year old and they wanted it to go faster. It doesn't go very fast. It does go up 45 degree hills pretty good. The battery life isn't that long if you ride up hills. I think it feels like it goes less than 10 mph. Also make sure the screws on the foot pad are screwed in tightly, we lost one and another fell off but we found it and screwed it back in.

Poorly written instructions regarding charging. No charge indicator on the unit when charging or completed. When this unit takes off, you'd better have your balance and be prepared for full-on take-off. It says 8 and up, but I disagree. I have a 9-year-old rough and tumble boy that is now scared to try again.
