Broke day one, on a flat surface

Given to 8yr old granddaugher Christmas morning. Played with it for about one hour, she yelled out my car is smoking. wire burning smell was terrible. i will return back to store for a refund. My granddaughter was very upset. im glad that it happened when it did and not in a closet.

Car dripping some kind of fluid when I attempted to remove the battery compartment cover....when opened batteries already installed. Installed batteries in the controller and the car moved a couple inches and started to smoke from underneath. immediately tossed it outside because it scared my family...like is it going to blow up?! Terrible gift idea...all the excitement just to be let down on Christmas Morning....

Package had only 1 battery. It pictured 2 batteries. I don't know how to receive the other battery.
