RCA 50" Class 4K Ultra HD (2160P) LED TV (RLDED5098-UHD)

Purchased on sale for 299.99.... only issue is can't seem to find a tv remote code for xfinity remote to control power and volume... Haven't watched any content greater than 1080 yet, but picture quality is stunning thanks to full array backlighting with local dimming (those options are hard to find at this price point). Built-in speakers sound good but I will add a sound bar for more bass.

I had this tv for a week now. The picture is really nice, colors are amazing, keep in mind I’m moving for an old lcd tv. I connected this to my computer and games and movies look amazing. Easy to setup. The sound could be improved not the best. Also the screen is a little bit too reflective .

Due to my aging eyes and I'm far-sighted, I need to be a few feet farther away from a monitor than most people do so I need a big screen. Was kind of worried that this will not be a good monitor but based on the chroma subsampling (see the attached picture of the image with the quick brown fox) it is very closed to full 4:4:4 and the last two lines are readable. Since it's 50" 4K it is like having four 25" monitors stacked upon each other or two ultrawide screens on top of each other. For about $200, this is a steal for a monitor! The only negative is that it takes about 30 seconds for my computer screen to show from the moment I turn on the power strip. Then again, this is my 1st 4K so I don't know if other 4K TVs takes this long also.

I'm actually pretty happy, coming from a Samsung that I had for 10 years that finally died on me I was very warry about getting an rca. The reviews scared me, but for the price and size I'm actually pleased. My only boot is about a month after purchasing my remote completely died. No matter what I do, the remote is a dud. Also , I find the legs on the TV are very cheaply made. I wish it had a swivel base and I'm constantly worried about someone nudging the TV stand and the TV toppling over. Other wise I found the sound to be very clear and loud. The max I've had it is 20! Didnt need to have it any louder! The picture is also very clean and clear.

Love this tv ! Image is amazing ! And sound quality is pretty good. With the AC on I have to turn it up a bit but it’s not a big issue tbh. TV is in bedroom and works great! Just remember this is not a smart tv! I ended up buying a Roku streaming stick and downloaded the apps through roku. But other then that it’s awesome

While it does do 4K, it does 4K at a max 30Hz and not 60Hz; 1080p can be at 60Hz. No smart options (I didn't need a smart TV). Sound was ok sound quality. Interesting that It has YPBPR ports. Fast LCD panel 6ms apparently, but there is roughly about 40ms input latency delay (this is with settings tweaking but not a fully exhaustive/comprehensive/scientific test; just a rough estimate). I can detect this latency delay when I game but it is subtle and other users may not notice it (much improved than my high end 2014 LG 65" tv; the tech in 2014 just wasn't mature enough and now being 2017 the input delays are much improved). If you are only watching TV then you need not worry about input latency (my 2014 LG, while having input latency; has excellent image/audio synchronization which should pretty much be the standard). Display colors not adjusted so I cannot comment on color accuracy. I would consider this unit an entry level 4k TV. Unable to obtain any manuals or other significant data from the manufacturer which is disconcerting. One reviewer stated that he had this unit for 23 months - which, from my research is an impossibility, as this is a 2017 model. If you are just watching 1080p content (which is a decent resolution as that at normal viewing distances it can be hard pressed to differentiate a 1080p (upscaled to 4k) and 4k on a 4k monitor/tv, it is a decent tv. I would buy this over most 1080p monitors/tv's as the pixel resolution at this size makes a fine pixel density and the images are excellent.

This set was probably made for a hotel. It was 4K but not a smart TV. The first time I tried programming it with my antennae, it picked up 4 channels. I repeated it and waved the antennae around a lot and got probably 40 channels. I usually get at least 50. The remote was so small I could not hit the right button, and I am a woman with very small fingers. The picture was not great, so I returned the set to the store.

One purchased at store, the panel didn't work. Ordered one online, and a month later we had massive backlight bleeding/clouding issues... currently going through RCA to resolve the issue somehow. The TV itself is great... but spend a couple hundred extra on something with more quality.

I didn't know about this till after i bought but there is a B and C version. The B produced in late 2017 shows yellow as green and the C version is either a Samsung or no name panel (your playing the lottery). I had to return mine even though the price was great on BF, the Simpsons are not lizards [facepalm]

Less than 3 months and TV has already messed up. Loud pop w/burning smell and some channels are messed up. wished I checked all reviews bc consumer affairs reviews shows numerous issues like this and stating customer service is horrible. so I will see how this goes when trying to return. very disappointing.
