RCA APPLE TV Extra Large Replacement Remote

Great replacement for the AppleTV remote. It paired immediately right out of the box after installing batteries. The buttons are bigger and there is no audio/Siri button. It does it's purpose. For those expecting a premium remote, this isn't it. This remote feels light in hand and some may say cheaply made, but for the price point ($11) it's a very decent replacement compared to the real AppleTV remote ($60).

This remote makes me feel like a grandparent… and I love it!! It's so large that I never lose it, the buttons work and it automatically connects to the Apple TV. I bought a second one for my other tv. The Apple TV remote always got lost in my house and this one is pretty hard to lose (I hope) 🤣

I thought this was going to be a waste of time and not work, but it definitely prove me wrong. It works right out the box and the range is pretty good even when you're not pointing it directly at the Apple TV box, the buttons are very intuitive and you'll never lose the remote because it's pretty big. Heavy emphasis on the big the remote is huge, but I don't find that to be a problem since I can clearly find it. Overall, it's a pretty amazing deal compared to paying $60 for a replacement. Only thing you miss out on is probably the function, but you can always use your phone to do that.

This Apple TV remote worked right out of the box, just pointed it at Apple TV box and it turned on. It's so much easier to use than the original remote. It has buttons the press! Such a good value, too. I love this remote.

Works with Apple TV 4K right out of the box. Paired with HDMI ARC from the tv to the sound bar everything works perfect

One day I woke up and my Apple TV remote no longer worked. I went to search for a remote but the official Apple Remote costs 60 dollars. All the knock off remotes had different buttons. Came to the Walmart app and I saw this RCA remote and it had all the same buttons in the correct location except for the power button. Plus RCA used to be one of the top tech companies. I bought it and instantly it paired to the Apple TV. I followed the directions to pair it to the actual TV to control the volume and that was easy. A few things to note: 1. The middle circle only works to select, you can't roll your thumb around it like the Orignal Apple Remote. 2. This is infrared but it works if you have it pointing in any direction, you don't have to directly point it at the Apple TV box. The only time I have an issue with pointing is if something like a pillow or a bag or something is in front of the remote blocking it. When changing the volume for your tv, you have to point it directly at the tv, but using the arrow keys and the play and pause, you don't have to point it directly at the Apple TV box. 3. Turning the Apple TV with the power button works by just pressing it one time. But turning off the Apple TV, you have to hold the power button for about 4 seconds and then it turns off. You are not able to press and hold the power button to pull up the quick menu on the Apple TV like you can with the original Apple TV remote. Outside of that, this remote is really good if you need a replacement.

Too noisy with clicks, does not have thumb roll function (unlike apple remote) not good functionality. We relegated to tv not used.

Would give this ZERO stars!! Terrible- doesn't work- buttons never work. Can't turn tv on/off… save yourself time and don't buy this item
