RCA Viking Pro 10.1" Android 2-in-1 Tablet 32GB Quad Core, Pink (Google Classroom Ready)

Purchased this tablet/keyboard = laptop for a young 6 year old for Christmas. Although this review comes your way via me, but from her Nana (grandma) speaking on behalf of the 6 yr old.. The keyboard is responsive,  I was easily able to get it connected to my network and I was up and running on the web.  I installed several programs.  I tried each application and all worked flawlessly. I especially like the fact that you can charge the tablet (or is it a laptop) with the provided plug in power supply or a mini usb charger used to charge a phone in your car It has a full size USB port plus a micro usb slot When fully charged I get about 6 hours use time which is great.

Bought My first RCA tablet at Walmart over a year ago for spouse who had trouble using smartphone, and android phone was too small! She loves it, uses it all the time. Lower Priced, But Great performance!! So, I bought one later, the same model updated, the Pro 10 II. Her's had a binder style keyboard folder. Mine is a clamshell style, and this one for her brother is the best!! and light, folding detachable tablet will turn around to fold standing or back flat against the keyboard, and thin, lightweight and lots of memory. RCA continues to impress me. Battery performance is pretty darn good on all three!!! I'm thinking of buying another one of these to upgrade hers.

I have had this for two months. Went to a Family History Seminar and downloaded the apps and got to work. I have traveled with it and super happy with battery life and the high resolution screen. Best thing is the standard size USB port so I can use a thumb drive.

I really love it. I got it, because it's a RCA. I like it, because I look for other tablet computer with a 10 " screen. This tablet computer was with a detachable keyboard and I can use it as a tablet or use it as a computer Why I got it was because of the price? Wal-Mart is where I got it because they have the best price.

This was even better than I had expected! Do NOT expect a high end, high quality material unit because it is not. The keyboard looks plastic-like because it is. The keys however are easy to type on and it does work just fine. The tablet portion however is unbelievably good. It is speedy, processes quickly and has a good size, good quality screen. I'm enjoying learning Chrome and it is a great weight for travel. It connected well to hotel wifi but I am currently running it off of my cell plan's Bluetooth. As long as my cell is relatively close, it has terrific speed while browsing or working. Again, don't expect a high quality feel but I have to say, for $80, this is a crazy good deal! I like the 2 in 1. I have only had it a week, and the price was reduced $13 so I missed that. I am having trouble transferring data from my computer to the tablet. The micro usb to usb doesn't work for data. I am ordering a walmart usb to usb https://www.walmart.com/ip/15075017 for $3.35 to try that. Other reviews indicate that will work. It says it will only accept 32GB sd card - not true. I have a 128GB that works just fine. PNY 128GB microSD Memory Card with OTG Reader. https://www.walmart.com/ip/55125860. I have it in the card reader. It will not work in the micro port, but it does also work in the USB port so you could actually operate with an additional 2 128GB cards plus the original 32GB for a total of 288GB.

I love this tablet. It is a very good basic android tablet for the price. I love having the attachable keyboard it is very nice to have if I need to type a lot. The overall body of the tablet itself defiantly feels cheap I don't think it would hold up very well if dropped. But I am very very careful with my electronics so I am not that worried about it. Overall great product really glad I bought it.

I got this for Christmas, although I have an IPad, I thought this would be nice with the attached keyboard and Android Lollipop. It worked flawlessly for the first week or so, I loved it. Then all of a sudden when I would type a d it looked like ddddd or a was aaaaa. Next time I went to use it the keyboard just quit working, nothing. So, fortunately Walmart had the extended return policy for Christmas and I returned it. It is such a neat concept to have the keyboard magnetically attached, no cords between the tablet and keyboard. Also, the fun color choices, I got mine in purple, it was just beautiful. However, maybe it isn't possible to have all this cuteness and features for 79.00. Maybe that's why my IPad was so much more expensive, because 2 years later and it is still working with no problems. I think I had better stick with IPad. Like they say "You get what you pay for".

I just picked my two tablets up last night and when I went to use them (both) this morning I can't get the screen to come up properly while either attached to the keyboard or not. The screen shot is always sideways unless I stand it on its end. I can't even find a phone number for the company to see how to rectify this issue. No instruction manual came with it either. How is someone supposed to know how to operate this thing without a manual. I can't even figure out how to reverse the camera from back to front. If I can't get it figured out by today I will be returning it.

This tablet would not turn on at all. Not sure if this is a random malfunction or if it is indicative of the product itself. I did contact customer service and they were helpful in trying to fix the problem but I was not able to get product up and running. I had to return the tablet for a refund.
